It's insane how amazing his voice is. Tone, power & control. A human voice can't get better than this.
Yes, not to forget his air management
Engelbert was billed as the world’s most romantic singing star back in the day!
I love this man’s voice. When he sings I get goosebumps. I’m 73.
Engelbert is one of the great crooners with such a smooth relaxing voice. His career has spanned almost 7 decades. His first hit song was "Release Me" in 1967. He has had many great songs including "The Last Waltz", "There Goes My Everything", "Am I That Easy To Forget?", "After The Lovin'", "Les Bicyclettes de Belsize", "Winter World Of Love", "This Moment In Time", "Love Will Set You Free", "Quando, Quando, Quando" etc.
I doubt that Humperdinck likes be called a crooner.(great singers but with a very limited vocal range)
Indeed, but I consider him a baladeer rather than a crooner as he does himself.
Tremendous Singer so Good !!!
He has such a beautiful sweet voice Eng.you are the best love you thanks for sharing ❤❤
He has such a dreamy voice. 🥰
So happy that you have been reacting to my two favorite singers…Engelbert and NeilDiamond. Happy that they are being played and love by yet another generation.
Engelbert's breath control is amazing, he has a catalogue of beautiful hit songs, some in Spanish and English well worth listening and reacting to. Stay blessed ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I wish I could've heard him live 50 years ago. His ability to deliver a song - live - was second to none.
We have all his records .You can never can get tired of his voice
Javier Solis sang this song in Spanish, "cuándo calienta el Sol aquí en la playa " first time heard in English .Engelbert has a great voice.
One of the greatest ever male singers. Great voice. Have a look at The Batchelors singing "The Sound of Silence" or "No Arms Can ever hold you".
Tom Jones and Engelbert were contemporaries, often considered rival singers, but they got along just fine, performed together a number of times, and had the same agent.
❤ la voz más linda !!! ❤
My favourite singer ❤
Have been to many of his concerts over the years. Still touring in his 80s! Welcome to My World,Last Waltz,Love is All,Spanish Eyes,Release Me, soooo many more!
Watch and listen again to this, Dani, this time as if you were a vocal coach critiquing his performance. Things like using his chest voice, his head voice, his phrasing, etc. You know, the kinds of things you learned in school as you developed yourself as an artist. One of the things I noticed is his breath control - particularly during long phrases with crescendos that roll right over into another phrase without seeming to take a breath. So the challenge is - can you spot when he takes a breath?
Engelbert Humperdinck has Christmas songs. His most popular song probably was "After the Loving". I love his songs, "Last of the Romantics", "The Way It Use to Be" and "Love's Only Love". His song "The Last Waltz" is a great hit. George Strait's "How bout the Cowgirls", "The Chair", "Baby Blue" and "Ocean Front Property", etc are great. I love Steve Wariner's song "The Weekend". Christian songs like Michael English's early 90's recordings of "In Christ Alone", "Midnight Cry" and "I Bowed on My Knees and Cried Holy" will make you think that he could have made a fortune in the secular sector of music. Sandi Pattie's 80's and 90's songs were great because of her range.
This was the song I used for my wedding in 2006. So perfect, still makes me emotional. Love it.
Engelbert is the undisputed King of Croon. Like Elvis, Tom Jones and John Farnham, he had professional song writers lining up to pen the best songs for him.
Elvis had poor diction.
My favorite is Love Me with All of your Heart- have just swooned over the man since my teens- and I am 70.
He has so many good hits. Try out Les Bicyclettes, The Last Waltz, Too Beautiful to Last, Am I that Easy to Forget, and Through the Eyes of Love to start. Btw, he and Elvis were acquaintances. Engelbert is still performing. Saw him a few years ago and he still has it.
Saw him in 1973 has a great voice thanks for putting it here Dani.
Thank you dani for posting Engelbert Humperdinck Fantastic voice he too had a lot of good songs like A Man Without Love , Please Release Me , Quando Quando, , After The Loving , The Last Waltz
I love Englebert remember listening to his records as a teenager but I never heard this one. So it was new for me too Dani. Excellent choice! Hope you play more of him. Love to hear your reaction to ( am I that easy to forget) or ( a man without love). P.S your Elvis thank you very much Thursday's Rock I look so forward to seeing and Hearing more 😊 have a wonderful day
I think this song shows Engs incredible range better than most of his others.
We have have all his albums .The tone of his voice is perfect .
Born Arnold George Dorsey. The change of his name to that of a German classical composer shows that having an unusual handle can get you noticed.
"You are my Everything" !!
One of E. Humperdincks biggest hits.
Give it a twirl and a try out.
✌️😄😲🌺😄😄👆
My favorite song of his is
After the Lovin.
It's amazing, he's amazing.
My favorites of his are "A Man Without Love", "After The Lovin'", and "Release Me".
4:06 Hm, Engelbert has more elegance and velvet in his voice.
He has a handsome voice.he is the whole pkg😊
Great singer and a friend of Elvis, thanks for posting Dani.
Beautiful
Engelbert sang some great romantic shit. Legend.
Happy New year to you and your family 🤩🙏🏻🇮🇪❤️
This is a cover and not one of his beautiful hit songs, which your listeners are listing below. The Last Waltz and After the Lovin' are my favorites, and his first big hit, Please Release Me, is probably the song that is most remembered and identified with him.
He was an enormously popular in the 60's. I remember waltzing with my beautiful girlfriend at that time.
Thanks Dani. Lot of full TV shows on CZcams.
There's a collaboration between him, Tom Jones, and Billy Preston of the song "Games people play " that you might enjoy.
Your comment about him having a similar quality to Tom Jones is smart because EH and TJ were managed by the same man who discovered both: Gordon Mills
I would recommend lobo and bread .
Englebert and Tom Jones had the same manager
Totally different kind of song by him to give a try - THE OTHER WOMAN, THE OTHER MAN
Please react to After the Lovin’ and The Way t Used to Be! Ou will live it!
Charlie has great taste may I say.
Here's something you might not know Elvis Presley did not like Engelbert Humperdinck, he once shot the television because Englebert was on it
You need to be corrected. That was Robert Goulet, not Engelbert Humperdinck.
@@stephenhanft1226 thank you now that I think about it you're right
@@stephenhanft1226 That's right, it was Robert Goulet. Elvis hated the type of flat, mechanical, emotionless singing of Goulet, and I didn't like it either. It worked in things like what he got start in, Camelot on Broadway playing Sir Lancelot, and other Broadway musical theater roles, such as Man of La Mancha, but it didn't adapt well for romantic ballads, for example, even musical Theater ballads, such as If I Loved You from Carousel, which Gordon MacRae and John Raitt did much better.
❤❤❤❤
For a moment ir an hour love me with all of your heart❤❤❤😢😢
