Kubota 4x4 to the rescue, I did the same thing in and older video, buried the John Deere, and the Kubota MX5100 came to its rescue. Happens to all of us, Take Care and Stay Safe 🚜🪵👍🏼🇺🇸
Man I needed this today! Been there and done that. When the 245 rolled back into the ditch near the mid point of the video I could almost hear your thoughts. Then when you finally got it out and were driving by your mess you were likely thinking "now I've got to fix this mess, I should've just used the weed eater". I really enjoyed this.
Just this morning, a local tree service dumped a load of brush/logs off and got hung up. My 7060 is still in the shop so all I had was my 1/2 ton GMC to try and pull them out. They had to unhook their dump trailer before I was able to even touch the thing because all I did was slide. I’ll be glad when I get my tractor back because what happened to you happens too often to me, too. Great video 👍🏻 Oh, tell Benny not to wear black socks with white tennis shoes at this years reunion - that ensemble is reserved for the old folks and he just looks too young!

I think we have all been stuck in the mud. Years ago I was delivering lumber to an 8 million dollar house under construction. I was on my second week of the job when I got a Kenworth stuck up the the axles in mud. The owner of the home was not happy with me. I am praying for you sir, thank you for being a blessing to those around you.

Oh wow, that's not good! I haven't stuck my tractor yet, but I've come close. I don't have anything else that could pull it out if it did either so I'm thinking of getting a winch. Have a great weekend, buddy :)
Some days we’re just better off staying in bed! This looks like one of those days to me. I’ve had my share of them, believe me! I enjoy your videos sir.
Hi Ben, I sure could never give anyone a hard time over getting stuck in the mud. I have had my BX23S buried to the bottom of the belly mower. I was fortunate enough to to be in a place where my wife could pull me out with my F250. On a side note: it is always encouraging when someone can show the bad times as well as the good. Hang in there, Brother! Have a great day! Mike
You got me beat having them International trucks but my old GMC 2500HD has a 12K winch with a wireless remote that works great for one person recoveries like this. I had to rescue my M7060 earlier this year with it. However last winter I got the M7060 stuck with a buggy with 5 tons of lime in it! Got my truck stuck trying with winch it out unsuccessfully. Called a buddy to bring his dozer with get everything out. Fun stuff!
Well Ben, I’ll have to say one thing when you get on stuck it’s stuck lol, we’ve been fighting soft and soupy mud most of the year I knew you get it but for minute I thought you was going to two get out lol!!!!!!
Been there before Ben, I've stuck my Husqvarna zero turn & craftsman 48" mower while mowing up at the Church in the ditch in August before!!! Had to take my truck with 50ft of rope to pull them out 1 at a time!!! It wasn't fun at all, now I have a portable winch for just such instances. I bought a Husqvarna wheeled trimmer to do those wet spots with, it is more off road capable if you will fir those wet areas!!
I did the exact thing with less than an hour on my new tractor. Tried to use a rotary cutter around my pond instead of a weed eater and put it in the drink. I go to great lengths to avoid weed eating.
Well Ben unfortunately it happens to the best of us didn't look that soft when you pulled the masey down there till it started to move. Now you got the ruts to fix some days are like that. Thanks for sharing be safe

And it started out as such a beautiful morning... We've all been there Ben. Couldn't help feel your pain when you stepped back and looked at the mess. You're in good company. And to think it all started with a notion that you could save yourself time mowing the area so you wouldn't have to weed wack it... 😰 We've got clay just below the topsoil up here, once those tires get filled with it all hope is gone. Take care my friend and laugh at the lesson. Momma said there'd be days like this...
Years back when I got my BX2200 my dealer talked me into getting the bar (tractor like) tires on it saying they would not damage the lawn and he was correct! I never got my BX stuck in the 20 years I had it with those tires. Well I did have the FEL on it sometimes that helped get me out too. I traded the ole BX for a 2501 a few years back.
So you cannot recover a Kubota with a Massey...got it LOL. Yep, when you get big toys stuck, it makes mess. A couple nights ago I had just gotten into bed and heard some teenagers screaming and carrying on nearby and thought man I really don't want to listen to them partying all night....then came the odd thud...then silence...figured well maybe I should get up and see what was going on. For some reason they tried turning around from across the road, but rather than just making a U-Turn or 3 point turn, they pulled forward all the way across the road and tried driving through the irrigation ditch out front of my pasture....not even sitting at a slight angle, their van was straight into the ditch...apparently they had called their dad to come rescue them as he soon pulled up after I had gotten out there. He tried pulling on the van from a slight angle but it wasn't budging at all...he decided he'd try to get a straight pull on it and drove across the road into the irrigation ditch on the other side to line his truck up....obviously not knowing how the 4WD works in his truck very well, tried to engage the 4WD after he was down in the ditch and just about got his own truck stuck...I really wish I had pictures and video, it was quite comical to watch....course they're all in their church clothes, quarter to 10pm, they had just left a funeral...not sure why or how they ended up on my road because its a dead end, and none of their family even lives close by here anymore...found out who they were, turns out I went to school with their dad like 22 years ago LOL....I'm pretty sure his son was actually the one driving the van, and doesn't have a license as he's not quite old enough yet, but more importantly nobody was hurt, and they learned you can't cross irrigation ditches in a mini van LOL. Just spent a half hour cleaning out the ditch, and fixing the ruts where the van went into it. Its pretty much dried up now but a couple spots are a bit soggy yet, found those pretty quickly with the tractor...yep the little BX2680 weighs enough to find the soft spots that's for sure...and I have the loader on mine too as I was using it to clear the dirt clods out of the ditch as I ran the ditcher through it.
Oh my goodness! That would have made for an awesome video 😆! You had more entertainment there for free then you could have gotten anywhere. Thanks for watching and sharing your story!
