Wow what a amazing collection I could spend the whole day in there staring at those beautiful cars. My grandpa had a Studabaker about the same color as the bullet nose convertible but his was a 2 door coupe. It had a straight six and a 3 speed on the column I was told.
Hi PlymouthDuster 225, Happy your enjoying this collection. Glad to the read the Studebaker brings back memories of your Grandpas car :-) Lou

Hi Craig, Happy to read the 1958 Chevy from the movie is a favorite of yours :-) My pleasure sharing with you, and you're welcome, Lou
A lot of great cars in the Gilmore, thanks for showing them in 6 parts as 1 episode cannot do justice to the museum. That 1954 Ford Crestliner is fetching.

12:14 The coolest car at the mueseum (and the '50's) my favorite of the whole mueseum. That is one the best model names ever.
Hi Richard, this car is a Mercury with ALL THE BELLS & WHISTLES :-) Lou
@@loucostabile Turnpike cruiser, has there ever been a better name for a car?
I'd like to hear more about that 59 fuelie Corvette with the 293 ci 6.
Hi Donald, Well I'm hoping you're able to stop by the museum and learn more, Lou
Another great video Lou! I did notice the license plate on the American Graffiti 32 Ford Pretty Cool. THX 138. Thanks.

Thanks Lou, what a swell tour.
Hi gnewb e, Glad you enjoy this 3rd episode! For the next 3 Sundays there will be a new episode, which should be fun so stay tuned, Lou
Am thinking the appropriate question is which car DOESN'T this amazing museum have 🤔. I also love that the cars aren't roped off so you can't see the interiors especially the dashboard. Which in many classic vehicles had as much detail and design as the exterior...
Hi Terry M, Happy to read you're enjoying the museum with me :-) Glad you enjoy this 3rd episode! For the next 3 Sundays there will be a new episode, which should be fun so stay tuned, Lou
Hard to choose a car as my favorite. But if I had to pick one it would be the '58 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser.
That's a FINE choice :-)
Nice assortment Lou. 👍
Hi Terri Bel Bliss, Agreed, a fun room of cars for sure :-) Stay tuned for next week, Lou
Just Wow!!! Thanks Lou!
Hi Kelly, Glad you enjoy this 3rd episode! You're welcome. For the next 3 Sundays there will be a new episode, which should be fun so stay tuned, Lou
@@loucostabile Sounds great Lou. I'll be watching
Radical channel, Lou! I love it! Great content as usual!
Hi Wesley, Happy to read you're enjoying the content :-) I appreciate the kind words, Lou
@@loucostabile ✌❤
Hi, Lou! As I looked at all these cars, I was thinking what it would be like to go out on a date in any of them. You'd really have it made, especially with the '57 Chevy, the Imperial and the Turnpike Cruiser! Of course, you can't double date with the T-Bird or the Met! LOL!
Looking forward to seeing what else the Gilmore has in store!
Hi iswc27, If I took a date out in anyone of these cars, I'd be so focused on the car, I'm sure my date would think I'm the most boring date ever :-) Lou
P.S. It's a problem, I know :-)
Goodday Lou,
What a museum, OMG I just can't wait toll your next epidode but the Imperial at the end, WOW imagine cruising that car down the road, let alone any of the cars from the museum.
Tell me how many days do you need to appreciate the whole Gilmore Museum.
Seems like a day isn't long enough.
Your number 1 Fan in Australia
Louis Kats from Melbourne Australia ☺ 👍 ❤
Goodday Louis, One focused day! Ken shares with me when he meets me said, "Lou we have lunch at the diner, and...." I stop him, and say "Ken, that great there is food here, but you have cars here, and until I'm done with the cars, then we can talk food."....never did eat, however....got THE WHOLE MUSEUM for you to enjoy :-) Lou
@@loucostabile
Goodday Lou,
It is all about the cars.
Food comes later, we need to get our priorities right. ☺
Cheers
Louis 👍
Another great room at the Gilmore, Lou! I couldn't stop laughing & wondering how they beat Mr. Nagel to get that black & red '57 Merc, or that '57 Chevy fuelie/'vert?
Hi TheGunfighter45acp, Happy to read you're enjoying the Gilmore Episodes. Funny you mention Mr Nagel. So the Museum called Ken and asked for his 1969 429 Boss to show on display, and he agreed (which as I think of it, I did not see it) so I called them to let them know about the video I did on that car, and it turns out Ken the Director @ the Museum saw that video and asked me out, and that is why we're seeing these episodes :-) Lou
@@loucostabile That is outstanding! Kens and fantastic cars go hand in hand. I'm so glad you and they made a connection.
Mercury Montclair 🥰
Quite the ride!
You need to do a proper video on Gail's Skylight Mustang Lou. I remember when you shared that video. Conditions were not ideal. You were limited. She seemed like a vivacious, cordial gal who is not camera shy. Def worth a revisit.
Hi Gabriel, You have a great memory. Yes, Gail's car was an early video, and the audio was pretty bad. Would be nice to redo her car with what I'm doing now, Lou
My favorite is the Tucker
That is a good one :-) Here is one I think you'll enjoy...Mr Tucker's Tucker czcams.com/video/JQzrUlfGYGg/video.html
Hey Lou! I am pretty sure kids and I will be going to Gilmore this weekend for mamas day! Then kids want to get Mr Beast Burgers. Have a good weekend ! I get lost really easy so I’ll let ya know on Monday if we made it or got supper lost! :)
Hey Miss Boss! Happy Mothers Day! Lou

Welcome Robert! Glad you're along for the ride. Please check the MANY cars on this Channel. Lou
I guess Jay Leno didn't get all of the nice cars bought......... YET!!! ;)
:-)
Hey Lou, that was definitely one of your best videos, very interesting great information.
I just have one question he said that turbine car was designed by Kia, or did I not hear that right.
Hi Bill, Chrysler. Here is a video of one of the turbines I did. Enjoy! Lou czcams.com/video/ZZKaejCuE1Q/video.html
Built by Ghia, designed by Elwood Engel.
@@danielulz1640 thanks a lot, I did go back and watch his other video.
What a shame they destroyed these cars I bet they would have been fun
10:00 I thought it was lycoming
Not sure. Hoping a Viewer can share knowledge.
@@loucostabile Me too thanks for the reply
Lou, found a video on you tube by Michael Lofvers. He was showing a Tucker that's at the La Porte historical mueseum and he mentioned the Franklin engine, 2 strikes and I'm out. Looking forward to video #4. I enjoy the videos.
