A friend is one near or far who remembers who you are!
Love that!
Thanks for sharing yourself with all of us cross stitchers and knitters. You are a friend indeed. Glad I found you!
Thank you for watching!
Not dumb at all to stitch anything with silk. They are wonderful to stitch with.
A friend in cross stitching is the best. Excited to see all your wonderful projects. Your knowledge will be a great asset for us, your flosstube friends.
I'm glad we can be stitching friends, Marlene!
Your personalization of your pieces is inspiring!! Thanks for sharing your lovely projects!
Thanks, Emily! It's always fun to make things a little more specific to life and family.
I think you've not only made one stitchy friend you've made over 10,000! Congratulations and can't wait to see your next flosstube.
Thank you for watching!
Love watching your new flosstube video . Very well presented and your reason for the new flosstube meeting new friends is the best reason . Look forward to the next one
Thank you for watching, Yvonne!
Love your first floss tube. You will surely generate a lot of stitching friends this way. Love your easy going style and all your pieces. You inspire me. Thanks
Thanks for the sweet comment, Eileen! I'm glad we can be new friends.
Was so nice watching you. I love how you move along quickly. And sticking with cross stitch. So great to find a new friend
Hi new friend Jacque!
An instant favorite flosstuber. Can't wait for the next one.
Aww - thanks, Sylvia! And you are now an instant favorite stitchy friend of mine! :-)
You could never have expected this many friends! Thanks for your video- love your stitching style. 🇦🇺
I definitely did not, but am happy to have them!
I enjoyed your first flosstube. I'm in Iowa without power for three days. I was watching you while I was sorting all of my floss in the day light. You became a friend making my job more delightful.
Oh no! I did hear about your terrible storms. I'm glad I could "help" with the floss sorting!
It’s so nice having a new stitchy friend.❤️I look forward to your next video.
I'm so glad your channel came up in my recommended list! I don't have a stitchy friend in the area, so I'm collecting them on Floss Tube. Your projects are beautiful!
Good idea to collect them on Floss Tube!
I enjoyed your first floss tube. During this time of quarantining, my cross stitching has saved me! It has been wonderful to spend my afternoons cross stitching. Since Oregon is now partially opened, stitching outside and socially distanced with friends is a true joy. What fun to have a group of friends that enjoy the same stitching.
I have been glad to have stitching during this time, too, Zena. So calming!
Sherri, your Flosstube videos always make me so happy! Thanks for sharing your time and talent with us!
Sheri I love your new version of death verse and your story. Congratulations on your first video, I loved it! Your stitching is so beautiful you have to frame it all.
Thanks, Debbie. I really am hoping to get some of them framed - no excuse not to!
I love having Flosstube friends because I don't have any personal stitchy friends. I am so glad that your video popped up on my suggested list. I look forward to seeing your progress on your projects. Best, K
Hi new friend Karen!
New friends are a blessing. Have a blessed week.
Thank you Chris - you, too!
Welcome to Floss tube, a great place to make LOTS of Floss tube stitching friends! You are an amazing cross stitcher.
Thank you so much!
It's nice to find a new floss tube friend and it looks like you've made lots of friends quickly!
Glad to have you as a new FlossTube stitchy friend, Terri!
You had me when I saw your leftover yarn balls behind you and when you said Loopy Ewe. A friend sent me a Loopy Ewe bag and yarn from your shop a few years ago. I crochet, knit, quilt and am back to cross stitch again after stitching years ago. So I could be your friend in a lot of different areas. I enjoyed your first video.
How lovely! I'm so glad we have many things in common, LuAnn!
Welcome! I love your video. You seem like a total pro! I totally agree that seeing all the beautiful stitching is completely addictive! Keep up the great work!
Completely addictive and completely fun! Thanks for watching, Julia!
I think everyone in the stitchy world is a friend! Thanks for your video! Enjoyed it very much! Can't believe you do 25 ct 1 over 1! It looks beautiful!!
Thanks, Sue! I mostly started one over one on 25 ct to make those large pieces more manageable in size. Running out of wall space!
Sheri, you can’t imagine how thrilled I was when this video popped up on my recommended videos! I have recently gone cross stitch crazy and am always surrounded by project bags filled with knit, crochet and cross stitch. I love all your work and I can’t wait for the next video! (Hi Paul!)
Rebecca! You’re stitching?? That’s so fun. Still miss you at Loopy so much. You need to stop by so we can catch up!! 😊
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed your floss tube and seeing the beautiful work that you have done. I love how you made your samplers personal. Thank you for taking the time to share with us. I just made a new cross stitch friend from watching the Country Stitchers and we leave within minutes of each other. We hope to do a road trip very soon.
Thank you for watching, Susan!
I enjoyed your first floss tube and can't wait for another one It is always nice to meet a new stitch friend.
Hi new friend Nancy!
We all need friends! What a great 1st video. You are a natural!
Thanks so much, Tonya!
Well, we can’t have too many friends. Best wishes on your 1st floss tube. So glad to hear you talk about a process stitcher. Now I have a title❣️
From one process stitcher to another - glad we can be stitchy friends!
Oh the memories- I had that very same Hummel book when I started stitching! I enjoyed seeing all your projects and I also wish I could find a stitchy friend!
Glad to be a virtual stitchy friend with you, Lisa!
Super fun pattern! Friend s are soooo fun to make on FlossTube! Everyone is so kind! ❤️
Thanks for watching, Julie!
Thank you for sharing your love of stitching! Welcome!
Thanks for the welcome, Jill!
I am happy friend that you are going to do floss tube. I really enjoyed meeting you.
Nice to meet you too, Jacqueline!
Welcome to floss tube! I agree with you my friend floss tube can be dangerous. Lol! I enjoyed seeing all your finishes and wips. Happy stitching.
@@chrmar406 Dangerous, but oh so fun!
What a delightful video! I, too, began stitching in the early '80's..my first project was "Fresh Eggs" by Cedar Hill on Davos (I think)...addicted ever since...also have done a few waste canvas sweatshirt projects..not my favorite method....I have so many Cricket Collection charts..lots of older ones.....all of the wonderful Flosstubers have enabled me to the point where I think I'm in trouble! I have a finishing problem myself...I have several small samplers from the '80's that are still in a box waiting to be framed..and, I knit...not as much as I'd like...plan to change that soon. Well, Sheri, congratulations on your first Flosstube! Always fun to find another stitchy friend!
Ha - I think I have been enabled into trouble, too. But it sure is a FUN kind of trouble. And you should totally frame those samplers from the 80's. That could be a beautiful start to a sampler wall!
I am glad that you decided to make a Flosstube. It was so enjoyable. I look forward to seeing more. I am glad to be a friend. The cross stitching people are so wonderful and kind. I watch all of those that you mentioned.
It's a fun way to extend the joy in our stitching, isn't it? (Not to mention the enabling that goes on...)
Hello, new friend! I think it’s fair to say your 1st Flosstube was a smashing success! What fun to hear your stitchy stories and see your beautiful stitching!
Thank you Julia! I so appreciate you watching and commenting.
Congratulations Sheri, this was the bestestest 1st Flosstube I have ever seen! It is the middle of the night here in Bavaria but I had to watch to the end. I am looking forward to your next contributions. And you are completely right - Flosstube is dangerous. I have been shopping cross stitch accoutrements like crazy. It is such a pity that the postal service (at least internationally) needs a lot of patience in waiting. But I am looking forward to seeing your projects grow! Lovely how you changed very bravely verses and designs to your liking! Love it! Sheri I miss you and Colorado, give Paul my best also ♥
Maria! I was thinking I should message you that I had made a FlossTube. How fun that you already found it! I wish I could sit in your cozy home and cross stitch with you. Maybe the next time I get over there. I miss you, too! xo
Sheri absolutely great first video! I loved seeing your HRH pieces and your sweet personalization. And we have a connection as I’m also an Iowa State grad. And I was born and raised in St. Louis. I rarely get back there though as I only have cousins still there. I’m from sunset hills area. What part of the city did you live in? And now I’m in Florida by choice as it was the vacation spot that became home as well. I look forward to video #2.
Oh, how fun, Carol! I had no idea you were an ISU grad as well. You're right - a lot in common. Did you shop at Yarn Tree in Ames? That was my first LNS and now they are such a big distributor. My parents lived in Sunset Hills (in a neighborhood off Rott Road). We lived in Crestwood, South County, and then Des Peres during the time we were there. Thanks so much for taking the time to watch my first video. Your videos are always an "immediate watch" for me, when I get notice that you've done a new one. :-)
Yeah! A new stitching friend!
Welcome to FlossTube! It’s great to meet a new friend and stitchy addict. I too started with the stamped patterns in the late ‘70s. Now with the internet I have increased my stash by 100%. Gotta live 50 more years to do them all - I’m 65+ now. LOL
I'm the same. More patterns than I can possibly complete. But I'm still having fun finding new ones, it seems!
Yay! I can watch you twice as much now!
So glad I found your flosstube. I can relate to all of your hobbies. I too am a quilter and knitter as well as an avid cross stitcher. Flosstube friends are so special especially in this crazy time. Your work is wonderful .
I'm happy to meet another quilter/stitcher/knitter!
Thank you for letting us enjoy your stitching! I hope to see you again soon. I will definitely think of you as a flosstube friend.
Thank you for watching, Connie!
Oh my goodness. Your video was a true delight. Your stitching is beautiful and very inspiring. I look forward to more videos. It is a small world. I live about 50 miles South of St. Louis. My daughter and I were in Aurora Colorado a few years ago. It is such a beautiful state. Thank you for making me smile this cloudy afternoon.
How nice that we have some connections to places, Kathy! Where, south of St.Louis? We used to have a family lakehouse in Bonne Terre. I'd always try to stop in Arnold at the cross stitch store on the way down on weekends. :-)
Stitchy friends are the best. Enjoyed your floss tube.
Thank you Shirley!
I enjoyed your first flosstube video and I look forward to seeing more. One more flosstube friend is always welcomed.
Thanks for watching, Kathleen!
Sheri, your first floss tube was very enjoyable and thanks for deciding to post your stitching process journey. You will have many like minded friends now. Your demeanor is so warm and inviting. Looking forward to the next video.
Thank you so much MarLane (and what a pretty name you have!).
Fantastic first video - you are a natural! Beautiful projects, finishes etc. Thanks for sharing all your projects.
Thank you for watching and commenting, Susan!
It’s always a great day to meet a new friend! Great video!!

Hello new friend Sharon!
I love a new flosstube friend. It was really cool seeing all the little changes you make to your patterns.
Thanks for watching, Kyla!
Congratulations on your first floss tube, you did a wonderful job! Also, it’s never dumb to use silk! It’s stitching heaven. Go for it. Thanks for share your love of cross stitch.
Oh, it really is. Having used it since filming this video, I can say that I loved it!
Congratulations on your first floss tube video. It’s a nice way to make a stitching friend.
Thank you Lisa!
So excited to have a new floss tuber to watch! I so enjoyed your first one. It is always great to have a new stitchy friend. I look forward to many more episodes!
Thanks for watching, Tiffany!
Enjoyed hearing about your stitching journey and was inspired by your ability to make such successful pattern changes. It’s great to welcome a new stitching friend.
Thank you! I really do enjoy making little changes on some of my patterns, just to make it a little more personal.
Always good to have a new friend. Great flosstube because you showed so many things that I love too!
Hi new friend Ann!
Hello Sheri, so glad to join you as a friend. Thanks to stitchywith42's Shout Out. You are a find. I am a quilter, so when things got shut down and quilt shops weren't open I turned to Cross Stitch which I had done years ago. Oh my, what a change stitching has made since my beginning. The Loopy Ewe was my go when I was doing craft and wool projects. Small world. I don't do Flosstube but the many Flosstubers I watch have helped me get back into stitching. Great video, look forward to your next one. Love how you personalize your projects, that certainly makes them more personal. Your stitching is wonderful and enjoy how you have finished them. Your album of projects on the phone is a great idea, as I have already bought several patterns twice. The mountains of Colorado are great, pleased you could move to your choice. Happy stitching and thanks for becoming a Flosstuber.
Pat @craftypaw
Hi Pat! Nice to meet you, and I'm glad you are a Loopy customer, too - thank you! And yes, we sure love living in Colorado and seeing mountains every day. It's a beautiful place to live.
Hi Sheri. I really enjoyed your first video and hearing your cross stitch "origin" story! Enjoy all the new stitchy friends you are sure to make!
Thanks for watching, Teri!
Hello from Oklahoma! Your first Flosstube was fabulous. Thank you for sharing your stitching history with us and showing your beautiful stitching. Am looking forward to your #2!
Thanks for watching, Gail!
Enjoyed your relaxed yet very informative narrative. Beautiful stitching.
Thanks for watching, Pam!
Thoroughly enjoyed your video. I look forward to the next one. It’s always fun to find a new stitchy friend.
Thank you for watching, Renita!
I would be happy to be one of your stitchy friends😊. I started cross stitching back in the mid 80’s and gave it up about 18 yrs ago when I had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands. My sister had told me that cross stitching was popular again, so I’ve been trying to catch up on all the new stuff. I had to laugh when you said you’re ordering patterns that aren’t your normal style because you made me fall in love with two patterns that I normally wouldn’t do; they’re now on my wish list. I’m looking forward to more flosstube videos from you; thank you for blessing my life💕
Hi new friend Laura! I'm delighted to have enabled you with two out-of-your-style patterns. I hope you have fun stitching them up!
I loved watching your first flosstube! Your projects are just gorgeous. I'm definitely a process stitcher. It de-stresses me after work, and calms me down when I feel anxious. Thank you for a wonderful video!
Thanks for watching, Dion!
Welcome Sheri to Flosstube. Your pieces are beautiful and I enjoyed seeing all of your meaningful personal and creative changes. I like your approach of making it your own. This is so true. You are a very gifted artist. You mentioned starting a cross stitch Flosstube to meet new stitching friends and I agree. I watch all of the flosstube videos and feel such a connection to you all. I hope one day to meet some of you at a retreat. This would be wonderful. I look forward to your next video stitching friend. Until then, Happy Stitching and stay well!
Oh, it would be really fun to meet at a retreat some day, Paula!
I think you will have lots of new friends. Just fabulous stitching projects and I love the personalization you've done. I put you on my must watch list. ❤
Thanks so much, Donna!
Friend friends. Love your personal touches to your projects!!
Thanks, Julie!
It’s great to have a new stitching friend.

I really enjoyed your video. It’s so nice to have stitch friends. Thanks for sharing. So happy Kindred Stitcher gave you a shout out.
Thank you for watching!
I enjoyed your first floss tube and look forward to watching more. So glad to find a new stitch friend.
Thanks so much, Stacey!
I'm so happy that Pam and Steph recommended your channel. I subscribe to your philosophy about making a pattern my own and changing fabric and floss colors to make it my own. Thank you for sharing!
Fun to have a new friend who also changes fabric and floss colors!
Yay. Welcome to Flosstube. I can't wait to watch more of your videos. Over the years I have enjoyed following you through the Loopy Ewe and now I am excited to be your cross stitchy friend. Happy knitting, quilting and cross-stitching. These are all my favorite crafty things as well.
Hi Heather! How fun to know you stitch, too. Another multi-crafter!
Now that I have discovered your channel, I am going back to the beginning to watch all of them. I had to smile when you pulled out that cricket pattern with the waist canvas jumper. I made that jumper for my niece back in the day. Talk about memories.
I loved you first video! A finish is a finish! I was raised in Colorado, I now call Idaho home! A new stitchy friend!
Hi to a former Coloradan!
Congratulations on your first Flosstube. You are great to watch and listen to. Your stitching is awesome and the backs are amazing! Can't wait to see number 2!
Thanks so much, Donna!
Great first flosstube. I love your Brenda Gervais piece all as one, very inspiring. I hope you meet many people and gain friends through this new venture!
I hope so too. So far it has been fun!
Sheri, fantastic first floss tube!! I enjoyed all your projects. I’m planing to Star BG Summer school series soon. Love it in 1 piece!! Having stitching friends is the best way to multiply the joy of stitching ❤️🌹
I hope you have a great time stitching that one up. It was one of my favorites to work on!
What a great way to make a friend. Congratulations on your first Flosstube video. You seemed so comfortable and relaxed 😌. Love your stitching and looking forward to more videos.
It has been a really fun way to make a lot of new stitchy friends. I'm glad you're one of them!
Hi Sheri, it was lovely to meet you today and I really enjoyed your flosstube. I would love to be a stitchy new FRIEND and look forward to seeing more of you and your lovely WIPS. Love the changes you made to Hawk Run, you really made it your own. Laughed out loud at the jerk stitch you made for your husband, so funny. Anyway, keep safe and until we meet again, best wishes, Kathy
Glad we can be new stitchy friends, Kathy!
Hey Colorado Stitcher! I am from Colorado and now I live in FRIENDly Texas. I have been stitching a long time, too. Since the 1900s! (1982) I will look forward to your FlossTube episode 2. I just recently discovered FlossTube during the pandemic shutdown when I had lots of time at home. Keep stitching!
FlossTube has been especially nice during this time, hasn't it? Thanks for watching!
Congratulations on your first floss tube! You do such beautiful stitching! I loved your stories about how floss tube is an enabler. I look forward to your next floss tube and being your stitching friend. Use the silks on any design you want to use them.
Hi new friend Linda!
It is great to have a new stitch friend.
Hi new friend Kathie!
Welcome to floss tube! I was glad to see your video, and look forward to your next. Friends? Yes!
Hello new friend Kimberly!
Welcome to the stitchy flosstube! Loved your first video! And look forward to more! It’s a great place to meet new friend!
Thanks for watching!
Hello my new friend! Was a joy listening to your new flosstube channel. Good luck and thanks for all your inspiration!
Hi new friend Debbie!
Really enjoyed your video. Love the changes you have made to your pieces. I too do not have a friend who cross stitches so thanks to all the great floss tubers for making videos!
FlossTube really is a great way to make stitchy friends!
Hi Sheri, thank you for wanting to be my friend! You are such a natural at doing videos and really enjoyed all your information and beautiful cross stitch. I am new to cross stitch and picked it up during the COVID shut down. I’m a quilter and I watch Fat Quarter Shop FlossTube and decided to give it a try and absolutely love it. So glad to add you to FlossTube! You have inspired me to try 25ct 1 over 1, yours are gorgeous! I live in OKC and have a daughter that lives in CO. Thank you so much and look forward to your next video!
Hi new friend Cecelia! I'm glad you're thinking about trying 25 over 1. It turns out so pretty and I hope you love it.
Really enjoyed your flosstube! Love how creative you were with your changes. Looking forward to your next one.
Thanks for watching, Denise!
Welcome Sheri from Wisconsin! I am so glad that Pam and Steph from Just Keep Stitchin shouted you out recently on their floss tube! Will definitely be tuning in to your channel regularly 😁
Hi Linda from Wisconsin - nice to meet you!
What a phenomenal first video, you are a natural and I'm a fan! Beautiful Stitching, I look forward to seeing more soon.
Kathy
Thank you for watching, Kathy!
Great first flosstube. Great to have a new stitchy friend!
Hi new friend Lynn!
So happy to "meet" you, Sheri! My best friend, another Sherie, is also a cross stitcher who got me back into it about 5 years ago. I also started stitching in the early 80's - mostly Precious Moments back then. I am also a knitter and quilter and one of my VERY favorite shops is Loopy Ewe!!! So glad to have you joining the Flosstube world!
Well I love that The Loopy Ewe is one of your favorite shops!! :-)
You have done a wonderful job on this video #1. Through Floss Tube I’ve made many virtual and in-person friends. People who like the same things I do. So know I’ve got another friend with the same passion! Thanks for showing all your stitching goodies!
Thanks so much for watching!
I am glad to be your cross stitch friend!xxxxxx
Hi new friend Angela!
Sherri, WOW,!! You executed an excellent job on your first Flosstube! I enjoyed listening to all your stories and looking at all your stitching. You sure jumped in deep when you came back into cross stitching. I also cross stitched in the 80’s. A friend I worked with at the phone company, Vicki, taught me to cross stitch. I did several projects as gifts for family and friends. I finally did do a couple for myself. My favorite was Paula Vaughn’s Aunt Verdi’s Porch. I stopped cross stitching as soon as I found out I was going to be a “Granny”. I wanted to make a quilt for my grand baby girl. She is my one and only grandchild. Well, that nasty quilting bug bit me and bit me hard. I have been quilting since 2006 and have made several quilts, wall hangings, purses, totes, project bags, pillow cases and various other projects. I was watching Kimberly from the Fat Quarter Shop on one of her videos on quilting and then on the FQS Flosstube. I went in search of Flosstube on CZcams to see what it was all about. Watched Deb and Liz, the Country Stitchers and I took the dive back to cross stitch. I have finally decided I can quilt and cross stitch! I can do both! Heck, I’m retired and I can do what I want. I love any kind of hand work. Love to appliqué, EPP and embroidery. I like to have something in my hands while TV watching/listening with my husband. If I am doing handwork, I am relaxed, my blood pressure lowers and I know I will have something to show from sitting on my butt so much!! Oops, I have motor mouthed enough or is is motor typed enough. You’ve got a stitching friend here! Looking forward to your next video. I promise I won’t leave another looooong message.😂😂😂❤️
So nice to meet you, Candi! You're right - you can do all of the things. :-) Stitching is nice to be able to do with others around (like TV at night), whereas I look at quilting as more of a solitary hobby (which is also good and necessary sometimes). I'm glad you're doing all of the things that bring you joy.
Loved watching your floss tube, you do beautiful work. Floss tube is a great way to meet stitching Friends. Looking forward to your next video .
Thanks for watching, Jennifer!
Welcome to floss tube, I am looking forward to your next one. Have a great day my friend
Thanks for watching, Cathi!
