  • 【Kudo exchange matches July 2023】Senda vs. Imamura
Imamura, a Kyokushin Karate black belt, is now challenging Kudo.
For fighters who switched from Kyokushin to Kudo, they have two big weapons.
One is the power of his punches and kicks. The other is a mind and body that does not flinch when being hit.
In this match, the opponent was a size smaller than him, and this advantage was fully utilized in the fight.

Kudo competitions are open to students who are affiliated with the Kudo Federation, either as individuals or as a group/dojo.
For example, the man in white-gi in this video is a student of Daido Juku, but he is also a sensei of a karate school called Seishin Kaikan.

Seishin Kaikan is not affiliated with the Kudo Federation as a school, but some of his best students are also individual members of the Kudo Federation and participate in Kudo competitions.
You may not participate in Kudo competitions without belonging to the Kudo Federation.

For that purpose, of course, Kudo is better.
In Kyokushin you won't learn how to block punches to the face or grapple. ;)
