Great place to stay. Loved it. I came from mass. I am from Puerto Rico so we spoke the same Spanish as the Dominican Republic language. Great all, liked it. Got multiple hook ups to different food restaurants even if I was not allowed:

Hi , are the RiU hotels better than Bahia? We are trying to book for April and since it become too expensive now we are trying to book for flight + hotel seperately instead of a package and of course we will contact you for Saona tour if we made it in DR
Hi! Thank youbfor commenting. Bahia and Rio are different. But yeah Amber and Fantasia I think are better than Riu Palaces. Although Riu palace is better than Bahia Bavaro and punta Cana

Hi, sorry if I'm late. The beach is beautiful and what's important no seaweed. The hotels itself is average, it's a bit old, but considering the price it's a good option

I would pick Bahia better. If you can rise a bit your budget - Fantasía or Ámbar are good
I saw nothing on their site about the casino, sport bar, and disco-can you give more info?
Yes, they have all that. The Casino is small, disco is boring, sport bar was empty, but they do exist!

Overall, what do you think about Bahia Pincipe Grand Punta Cana for a solo traveler? Is the food good? And is there a large selection? I just booked with them.
Yes, it is good I do recommend it as a not very expensive option

I think they are of the same level but Caribou club is smaller. The shows are better in Bahia

Bahía principe Grand Bavaro is reaaaaally bad. Food is the worst. In 1 week could not find any good food. Some employees are not friendly and the entertainment is boring.
With which hotel are you comparing it? To my opinion the food is very good for the price. Don't forget it's a budget hotel. If you expected high end food for this price - that's wrong

No you can't
2/23 Horrible time at this resort. DO NOT book here. Beautiful grounds, but that’s where it ends.

I think Bahia is the best in it's price range. I didn't see cold food. But I do recpect your opinion of course. You only didn't like the food or anything else was wrong?
I would agree with you. Stayed 2 weeks Jan.2023 and had a great time. Good value. Lots of choice for food. Mosquitos at night.bring spray!

@@DominicanVlog Hehe, I put that timestamp so that I could show my friends how the beach looks like. We're going to Punta Cana this week and we chose Grand Palladium Bavaro instead.
Just spent a week here. !! NOT ALL INCLISIVE!! only their own brand of alcohol is included! Wich is cheap and garbage
Regular alcohol is NOT included! U have to pay for drinks. It was such a disappointment ! Food was ok but NOTHING SPECIAL compared to better resorts, lots of things are like ordered from microwaveable food sources. Management changed we stayed here 7years ago and it wasn’t the same. Service is not good. I practically had to argue with bartenders in the pool to get a tiny cheap drink. Very few selection of their cheap drinks in the pool anyway. My room had a few things not working and the engineer came like two days later. First night I waited to 3 hours and they never came. Waiters are very helpful. Management did nothing about issues they just pretend to care and do nothing. Roaches everywhere at night. The place looks good but everything else is shit. The best pool by the pool was under construction and the beach area was awful. Lots of jack hammering sand was slanted can fall easily and it was the only hotel in the area that didn’t clean the seaweed. Water was like mud. New management really messed this place up.
Sorry you had such a negative experience. All the hotels of this price range give cheap alcohol but they do have Barcelo Anejo y Brugal Viejo
They are not 5 star. I'm here right now. Checked in yesterday and I want to leave. Rooms are dated, gave the wrong room. The second room was accurate, but the outside lights don't work. Room door doesn't lock so anyone can walk in. Phone didn't work. Had to walk darn near a mile to the front desk. Shuttles wouldn't stop.
Hi! No it's not a 5 star, but the price is also not for the 5 star resort. They do really have a good price now. As I always say in my videos you should not believe the stars in the Dominican republic. Did you change the hotel? How was your vacation?

It's happens in every country. Go to google and type robbery in hotels in ..Mexico, Puerto Rico, Italy, France ...... etc...
