great little video explaining the job.. I am looking into this. Pretty strange no local CC offers this.
I feel the same way, I had to take my classes separately. I just did EKG tech course, now I have to take Cardiovascular Technologist /technician at a different school.
Same for my area. There are literally no invasive programs in my area. All of them are sonography only and qualify you for the sonographer examination. I looked into the invasive tech jobs and apparently, a lot of hospitals are using RNs instead of CVTs for invasive duties. CVTs are basically being kept in sonography jobs. Not saying anything is wrong with being a sonographer as it's actually a very rewarding and decently paying job. However, my goal is to get in on the actual cath lab action. So, I decided to apply to nursing instead and I got in! Besides, I'll have access to a broader job market as a nurse in case I find out that cardiac cath lab isn't for me.
Do they have a stethoscope ??
What's role in medical areas cardiology technician
Mam can you explain me that bsc in cardiology laboratory technician and cardiac care technology is same?
Yes it is same
No, they are not the same. Technician is non invasive and technologists is invasive. One is a certificate and the other is a degree

Dear ma’am/sir,
I am still exploring my career options but I would like to become either a cardiovascular technologist or a physician assistant. I was told I can take the nursing route or apply to a cardiovascular technology program. I would like to know if there’s any other degree program that can help me attain either goal when I decide which career I’d want in the future?
Kind regards
Sy’rai
