It’s not a cappella, though; you may note that it’s acoustic.

I love the versions of the great crooners much more, a term used to indicate singers who, especially men, perform with a sweet style, obtained thanks to higher quality microphones, which give the singer the possibility of accessing a wider dynamic range and to express their voice in a more personal way. Even though I recognize GaGa as having a splendid voice, in this video (horrible to shoot anyone from below, in any case, especially a lady) I find that she uses a slightly too high volume, which is ok, it's jazz, but it sounds too much like Judy Garland or daughter...the style is very similar. I prefer the version, not surprisingly, sung in the style of Tony Bennet....:czcams.com/video/ebniARJeuVw/video.html
Or better yet, together with him... unforgettable class to spare... czcams.com/video/xyTa_gJkYwI/video.html

How uninteresting music would be if it all was performed the exact same, don’t you think? Especially since the entire beautiful premise of jazz music is improvisation and putting a unique spin on it as an artist, while still respecting the history and culture that paved the way as Lady Gaga has so graciously and humbly done since her childhood. To take the time to comment linking a specific cover you think a singer should sound more alike to is… strange to say the least. Also a bit strange to do so using Tony Bennett as an example, when Gaga was arguably his most beloved mentee and one of his closest friends, who has dedicated this performance specifically to him for years. All just to say you prefer to listen to men sing jazz as opposed to women. Hm.
Also, I was in the front row, did you want me to hold my phone straight up and block everyone behind me? Hold it unsteady or jump up on stage to get a more level angle? Be so distracted I missed this incredible moment being consumed by the angle of my phone? come on now, let’s use our brains 🤣 Also, what do “flattering angles” have to do with jazz music, would you speak about Mr. Bennett like this?
Glaring gender biases aside- this wasn’t performed, recorded, & posted for the sake of your (inconsiderable) opinion. But thanks for taking the time to share what you prefer, I guess! 😄

@@jodishelton1579 Did you do everything yourself, gender issues?, Not touched upon by me, I was only referring to the aesthetic rendering of a woman who has undergone a thousand transformations, with various makeovers, (very favorable to interventions to improve herself), to obtain a beautiful face, mine in fact it was referring to the double chin shown in the video which I - and certainly not even she - would have shown. But as you wrote at the beginning....what I wrote is irrelevant...So I'll stop here....

The people videotaping are literally in the seats that are lower than the stage because she's on the stage duh I mean how else would you expect them to film other than from below do you expect them to like go on the stage and catch a more 'appealing' angle of her what the FUCK are you talking about????????
