Hello everyone, I'm Ding Ding, a short video blogger of oil painting creation. I've studied painting since I was a child and love it very much. My creative inspiration also comes from life. I think, she's just cleaning the wall. She does not paint with oil paints. These are most likely acrylic paints or gouache.

It could be in a studio and she’s painting against a backdrop of some kind? Because I would imagine that’s quite the clean up job lol

@@Byrca1313the video is labelled oil, but maybe it’s acrylic. It looks much, much too opaque for gouache.
Even then, you’d need to repaint every time. Acrylic doesn’t wash off once dry, it’s basically the same stuff as most wall paint, artist paints just use different/finer pigments. This would have taken days, not hours, the paint would have dried long before she finished painting

I love Honey and Clover. It's been a long time since I read it, so I don't remember seeing a canvas being painted with just an entire body. Unless you mean during moments when Hagumi would paint on large canvases, which I do remember. Some of them were much larger than her, especially since she was short.
