@@spider35621 ya, and Marvel was trying to get Spider-Man in the MCU long before Tom holland spidey movies. With the original Spider-Man movies with Tobey. Tony Stark was supposed to be the person to help build dock ock’s arms in Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3 was suppose to have an avengers connection. In Iron man post credit Nick Fury mention Spider-Man only other Spider-Man. So marvel’s original plan for Spider-Man was for him to be part of the original 6 avengers, but Sony didn’t want that to happen. Marvel tried with Andrew’s Spider-Man, and Sony decided to compete with marvel studios and failed with tasm 2, so I’m glad we have Tom holland Spider-Man in the MCU

@@protag64toons2.0 ya, and not only that, but Marvel wanted Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine to make a cameo appearance in the first Spider-Man movie, but Fox and Sony didn’t let that happen. If Disney hadn’t bought Fox we wouldn’t have illuminati in Multiverse of Madness, or Deadpool 3 in the MCU or Fantastic Four movie coming out next year. And at this point I think Disney should buy Sony Pictures after all the flops Sony had with their spidermanless universe

I don't think he cares about that. If it's up to Raimi, one of those characters will get killed off at some point, specially if they're villains, because that's his style. You can't expect Raimi to do exactly what YOU want, so it's bonkers to let him direct and then tell him what to do, he doesn't work like that. That's why 'Spider-Man 3' and 'Doctor Strange 2' ended up the way they did, they didn't let him do his own thing.

His previous work includes Insomniac Spider-Man Games and Daredevil season 1 and season 2.
That or Danny Elfman could return. But that could result in more unwanted comparisons between Tom & Tobey

Sam Raimi directing the new MCU Spider-Man trilogy would be perfect and would make Raimi's director arc come full circle.
He could try out new things he didn't showcase enough in the Tobey movies like getting Black Cat as the new love interest of Spider-Man
He might reuse some of his original ideas, because alot of things from Spider-Man 3 (literally over 2 hours) got removed, and Spider-Man 4 had plenty of fresh ideas that’d be cool.

I’m pretty sure at this point in the comics, he’d probably be around at the college comics, which are way darker then most Disney directors or just Disney in total would like. Sam directed horror movies, he literally blended horror aspects into the original trilogy, he’s perfect

MCU Spidey is finally Stan Lee/Steve Ditko SilverAage Spidey, so Raimi's take on material from those early comics would be wild.
Don’t get too ahead of yourself, we’ve only seen him like this for 6 minutes. so hold your horses because they might not hit it where it’s right. Marvel fought hard for this movie, but Disney might not want to go with the more dark adaptations of Spider-Man.
MCU Spider-Man was already adapted as Silver Age Spidey when you look at the style of Homecoming though some of his characteristics aren't accurate, He still has those Spider-Man elements in there

Personally I'm not a fan of this, rami's style is so distinctly linked with Toby's movies that I think it would be better to bring on a new director to give something more distinct for TomHolland's second trilogy

I agree it's the worst idea, but not on him misunderstanding Peter. His version of Peter is literally one of the best we ever had in any adaptation ever. Might not be super accurate, but that's not what defines the character.
