Freighter Wake Surfing in Seattle, March 2024

You don't always need to get to the coast to do a little kayak surfing!
Granted there aren't as many rides - they last only as long as the wake is present - but if you know the right location, get the right tide height, and dial in the timing of the container ships coming through (at 20+, knots), you can get some good rides.
