Nice to see that the 'Omg Nadeo!?' yells of you were very similar to my reactions as a very very casual player.
(I played them until I had any medal, except the last five where I was glad to finish at all 🤣)
25 definitely seemed easier to me than pretty much all the other black maps.
Seems like a more normal map thats why.
The only hard part about 25 for me was the sand turn
While playing this campaign, I couldn't get rid of the feeling, that the maps were intentionally trying to kill me.... :D :D :D

As someone who started playing 3 weeks ago and got author on the first 10 maps (minus a bobsleigh map) and some of the blue maps in the winter campaign. I do not like most of the first 15 maps. They aren't really fun to play as a biginner i think. Im fine with nadeo upping the difficulty. But they should start really do it blue+. Its not only the difficulty most of the starting maps just are really unfun i think.
Agreed bobsleigh tracks last campaign were the most frustrating for me, but in the end I learnt quite a lot about how to drive in a bobsleigh and set up your entry to get a good exit without spinning out. Still hated it though.
agree. this season is interesting, but it has fun and weird flow. and many tracks will be hard to play in ranked.
I liked the previous season more.
as a beginner as well, I found most of them super fun to play (still hate 04 and 10 with a passion), most of them were not that hard, just utilized a lot of different knowledge and I think that's helped me improve a lot already, I havent had to spend over an hour on any of the ATs so far and I have all until 21

Either I got better despite not playing Winter 2022 much, or this campaign is a lot easier than the previous ones. This is the first time I got a silver or higher on all 25 maps within 24 hours of first playing the campaign
I feel the same way, I loved the Fall 21 campaign for the most part, then Winter 22 I just got all golds and spent most of the season grinding club campaigns/maps, but this season feels much better, might actually start playing ranked
I would say that the new campaign has harder/wicked maps but the ATs are easier.
I like the new campaign overall. Maybe a little bit too much ice for my liking, but sure. Rn they feel daunting to go into for ranked, but I'm sure I'll either git gud at them or spend the next three months hunting Grassy Spring :D

Does Scrapie or anyone have any tips for improving from being able to gold most maps, to being able to get author times for most maps? It seems like I've hit a roadblock in improvement and I'm not sure how to get better. I think it mostly is coming down to gears and not knowing some of the more advanced tricks, but its hard to be sure when driving.
Practice, take your time, take a break if you are stuck. Usually to get AT its mostly about setting up as wide as possible, get close to the wall and keep your speed. You dont need to think about gears to get AT.
Look at the colored stripe at the edge of the road, you almost always want to hit it.
I think that it’s good to play a lot and play a lot of different types of maps.
I don't know your skill level, but you will get better if you keep playing. That said, I improved a lot by practicing slides/drifts on roads and understanding gear changes on dirt, grass, etc. Also, watching WRs to learn the ideal lines on each map helps a lot.
Play a lot and think about lines you think are fast. Try them and learn from that. :)
Analyse the maps and really think about what you should do to get a better time. Also a good way is to look at wr and think about why they do things.

Can someone help with song in the begining?
i have about 50 hours in trackmania, so i'm not that good, but i can not even finish every blue true, like track 13 and 15 are just horrible, and i do not even have interest in trying the black ones, this campaign is so hard for me :(( i mean, its nice to have a hard time to get Author medals or gold medals in the harder maps, but let me at least finish them? like i needed an horu just to finish track 13? i still have no medal, am i just bad or is it actually hard? :(
I know it's been over a month but If it help, for track 13, make sure you don't turn before your car has fully left the plastic (12:59 and 13:05), or else you'll slide and won't make the jump later. For the turn at 14:22 I found it easier to release to make the turn and then drift for the turn after that. For track 15, knowing when to drift is important (cause tech). To clear the jump at 17:35 you need a proper setup at a 17:25, or else you won't be able to build up enough speed. I'm just assuming these are some the problems you might be facing so this advice might be completely useless to you lol.

Just how? It took me at least 15 minutes before I amimed the jump at 13 with enough speed. Not a good season for new players. (I started just after the start of the last season)
