​@soimsha. REGARDLESS...It's still cool that she was chosen to do the nails that they were gifting to Doja Cat. It's not like they asked for a bunch of different nail artists to makes sets, that would just be crazy and waaay too many nails. It sounds like her nails were going to be a highlighted aspect of the gift basket they were presenting to her, since they were going to have them displayed on the mannequin hands. All of that is very cool, and very special I think.

Thank you! 🥰 I chemically etched them with ‘Gel X Prep’. It roughs up the surface and provides the same adhesion as buffing, but without all the dust!

For the red chrome on the rhinestone glue, do u need a topcoat or go straight in w chrome? Ty❤

I went right in with the chrome! It took a bit of fussing to get the timing right on how long to cure for before applying the chrome (mostly because the chrome wasn’t the easiest to work with), but once I sorted that out I didn’t have any issues! It’s a non wipe gel so that’s why it works!

Hahah it certainly would have made things a bit easier, but unfortunately it wasn’t her team that hired me. I did request her sizes but to keep things a surprise I think they wanted to go for a more universal route 😅

I chemically etch the tips with Apres Gel X ‘Prep’ so it provides a textured sticky base for the gel to adhere to! ☺️
