Thanks for all the demos here. I'll add that I've run a 12 Amp / 16" chainsaw directly off the power station. Only draws about 800 watts. Works great and it's a game changer for off-grid applications.
You said you're not a prepper or an alarmist but you just like to be prepared. You said you believe that it's inevitable that there will be power outages at some point. That's what a prepper is. The main stream media has driven the narrative that "preppers" are a bunch of nuts. You are the typical prepper, most are not crazy people.

Love your channel! Very accurate and to the point of each equipments you show. It's exactly what I wanted. Thank you very much and keep up what you're doing.
Awesome! So happy to help! Feel free to subscribe!
Just getting into solar generators, im a dj, bought a River 600 to run a small wedding ceremony sound system, and also charge my drone batteries. I have a 1600 running watt gas generator that I also use for both pa system, and emergency home backup. But now learning about these, I am definitely going to get one of these for home backup.... wire it into my transfer switch, flip switch to generator power, and have an instant UPS backup for my home. If my power goes out which is rare, it usually comes back on in 15 minutes or so, and the longest it's ever been out is about 5 hours.
No more going out to my detached garage to fire up my gas generator in an emergency. Just need to get one to test, to see how much run time I could get in a normal use scenario. Also love the ability to monitor usage from the app.
Hi, Russ. Love your channel. Always love your drone content.
You ran the water pump and the shop vac exactly what I need to see work with this thing 👍🏽lol
Good video and review.
Nice video Russ!!
Thanks!
Love my ef delta for powering my cargo trailer conversion. No regrets!
Great practical review Russ. I really enjoyed watching it to the last second (as always). We have a proverb I learned when we lived in the Middle East 15 years ago which says “ Ask one who has experience rather than a physician”
Have a good day Boss ☺️
We just had a major ice storm here in Portland so I went out and bought one of these units. A lot of people were losing power for days. Costco had them on sale for about $645 so I think it was a good deal but it sure doesn't seem like it would keep me warm for very long if we lost power. It seems like I would get only a few hours out of it at best. Perhaps the solar panels might be a good investment.
Excellent Review Video on the
Echoflow Delta Generator Russ!! Thank you!!
Enjoyed 👍👍
I WILL have this! Thank you for informing me about this! I had no idea such a thing existed!
Oh... still using the dacckit case I won from you! Now it's housing my 2nd mavic 2 pro! 😁
Wow!
". . . keep my beer uuhhhhh. . . . my pop cold". You got caught slippin (or sippin) 🤣🤣🤣! Nice vid . . .
Hi Russ, thanks for the video! This looks like a perfect solution for what I need. I have a bunch of garden equipment, and I’m changing over to battery equipment for as much as I can. I really think this EF Delta with solar panels would be my best answer for those battery tools. This is chain saw, tiller, weed whacker, push mower, etc. This is not a commercial operation, just me on my little tiny farm. Mostly weekend work. This really sounds like the answer to my dilemma of how to charge these things in the shed. I’ll be watching for this on Prime Day! Thank you so much!
Love your channel Russ. Reading through the comments it is pretty obvious that you really care about your subscribers. Thanks for all you do.
You and your channel have my support, so I watch the full video. 🙂
Wow thats a cool unit. Thanks for sharing. 👍🏻
fyi... What is the difference between Delta and DELTA 2 EcoFlow?
The Delta 2 has a significantly higher number of life cycles (3,000 cycles) compared to the Delta (800 cycles), making it a more durable and long-lasting battery option. The EcoFlow Delta II has more power options compared to the Delta, including higher wattage USB-C ports and additional grounded AC outlets.
Great vid, can you tell me if solar panels would work well inside a screened patio ?? Thank you 😊
Eee se qqqqqqq
Nice
Would this be a good choice to run a small 6 cubic ft freezer. I just want something in case power goes out for several days. Im planning to have it hooked up to a small solar panel array.
How about your Traeger grill?
Thanks for all the information.
Easily!
Fantastic Unit Russ !
Happy Flying
Great review Video. Thank you
I have a gas inverter 2000watts. Can I use it to charge my ecoflow delta?
Yes! I have done that!
I have the Ecoflow River 600 as my first SoGen and I must say it’s pretty impressive. Now I want the Delta now after watching your review😂
Better get one!
This is a huge difference you could spend $12,000 or four 6000 get four times the runtime and almost twice the power and a simple $600 generator can give you that ability to recharge the batteries while you’re using the generator and you can always hook solar panels up to the batteries with a charge controller Another big advantage is wait your battery at less than 50 pounds your inverter at less than 20 pounds your charger at less than 10 pounds can be easily moved and if you get the hundred amp hour battery you can get to weight down even more you would just have to make more trips
For power tools I would use the generator instead of depleting the battery, because I would have to be in the garage anyway ...
Niiiiiiiice😎👍
I was all set to get the River Pro but after watching this review I am now thinking the Delta mini. I am looking for portability and the river pro looked perfect but the Delta mini doesn't look too much bigger and seems to offer a lot more. Mostly going to be bring in the car to run an electric cooler, charge drone and camera batteries. I would also like it to accompany my RV at night when not running generator. Which do you think would best fit my needs?
It might be a bit small for an RV backup. But for your drone peripherals it’s perfect!
I don't see why so many people are against solar's, or it's a gas vs. solar contest. I want a solar unit for the very reasons you mentioned; can be used indoors.. nobody knows you have it, no chance of it being stolen. It is just an emergency tool for me, I won't trying to run my entire home for years with it.
Russ: do you have recommendation for a lipo safe bag for three Mini 2 batteries for air travel? I am not even sure a bag is required-I do know they have to carry on-but I would like one regardless. Thanks.
How many watts does it take to recharge up the battery in the delta?
Anyone figure out how to charge a Delta from your cars cig lighter? I tried using the 12 volt charging cable it came with and it fried the cable.
how many hours will it power that tv for and maybe a ps5 ?
How much do you think you save per charge using solar vs the wall?
After charging my Eco Flo Delta to 100% with my solar panel.
I brought it in and plugged in a small TV and the cable box in my room.
I also plugged the unit power cord to the wall outlet and the fan came on immediately.
Even though the Eco Flo Delta displays 100% charge and 99 hours. It will not turn on the TV or cable box.
Question is why won't it turn on the TV and cable box?
And is it safe to leave it plugged into the wall outlet while in use? That is if it will power up my devices.
The AC section has it’s own power button. Just making sure.
Does anyone know the material used for the casing of the product?
Great idea to spend my stimulus!
you talk about honda reliability but how long will that battery last?

What happens if you trip the breaker because of a surge? Is it broken or does something just need replacing? Sorry... I'm learning here 😂
Nope. Just turn it back on.
Great video Russ, you stated a few times a great non long term choice. Do you have another video covering a long term option. Someone that daily use a battery generator or solar setup for the long haul
I’m still researching that!
Its a rechargeable battery pack! In no way a generator replacement! And the batteries are only rated for 800 cycles very expensive to replace unit
Can it run a Cpap machine and how long it can run
Mine not working the car outlet 😢
how much?
how to get..here in philippines?
Do they ship to Puerto Rico?
how long can you charge your drone, pc and camera batteries?
Many many times over
Great info Thankx. After the battery is spent and recharging is not an option any longer can the battery be replaced?
No. But it won’t be spent. It will just have a 60% max.
@@51Drones you mean 80% max after 800 cycles
Hi Russ, Love your info on stuff. thanks for that. Question, I see that right now the Ecoflow website is selling the Delta at early Prime day pricing, ($1099.00)_($300.00 off). Are you saying that If I/we use your link to purchase on Prime day, there will be an additional $100.00 off?? So a price of $999.00? Your video mentioned $400.00 savings.
I just sent them an email asking. I’ll let you know!
The discount will be available just on the 21st and 22nd on both Amazon and the Wcoflow site.
I'm interested in buying an electric portable power station. Having watched your videos, which brand would you recommend? Thanks.
I like the ecoflow delta. I have half dozen different ones and that's my favorite..
@@j-sonS Have you been able to charge it with your cars 12 volt cig lighter? I tried and it fried the cable.
@@joeblow1942 I havent tried it. Too slow for me. I plug into the wall.
Congrats on 150000
Thank you!
Man cave is better than the couch when you're in the dog house
How long will it power a 1500w space heater?
45-50 mins
The website says "800 Cycles to 80%+ capacity" and not 60%.
I’ll stick with my Generac generator, it hasn’t failed me in 15 years! Runs the whole house for weeks if need be on natural gas.
Natural gas unit is great. But what if you want something out in the field?
@@51Drones I’d bring a gas can

I wonder if the upcoming Delta Pro will power that miter saw.
We’re going to find out!
Missed prime days; any other discounts?
prime day extended this deal.. Its still avail
The Ecoflow site has them on sale occasionally.
Circular saw for 10 minutes
So on prime day it will be $400 off, correct?
$400 off retail, so it will be $999.

I have two.

Lol. Caught that huh?😁
Umbrella vs hoody works for me.
Now you have reviewed a true power backup unit
Russ, it's so ridiculous to compare this unit to a 2200W Honda generator, which is not the best generator made, either. When you are out of power, like your parents were, this thing wouldn't last 24hrs. What people need is either a dual fuel generator that can run on propane or gas or a diesel generator large enough to handle their critical loads so they can keep refrigerators, freezers and heating systems going. This takes a minimum of 4000W which can be purchased for less than half of the price of this battery unit, which does not generate any power (it just stores 1800W)
And what happens when you run out of fuel and fuel is unavailable??? Solar back up is not a bad idea
So even if you were a multimillionaire I still don’t know why you would buy this product buy the most expensive inverter at around 3000 that will last you forever then buy a really powerful charger for about 700 bucks of course this will deliver three times the power of two of those units and give you a charge time 10 Times faster than their charge time it would be very expensive but still not expensive as those units thank you for your video and I’m not saying the product is bad just that why would you pay someone that much money to just get it all in one box and make it harder for you to move
Why does a man deserve his own cave?
I bought one recently but have only used today n yesterday for heating water. Charge was at 26 to 33% or so. When I tried to do 4 minutes it cut off. I tried 2 minutes it cut off. I tried 1 minute it cut off. I haven't dropped it or anything. Just used 2 times for microwave that's supposed to be 700 watts but sucks 1100 watts. Aside of that I been keeping my 20000mah batteries charged wirh it. Since I took so long to use it, I missed the amazon deadline. A $1100 bucks down the drain and I couldn't even afford it but I saw so many good reviews that I took the leap. I feel really ripped off right now.
Hey, we are sorry for the inconvenience, please contact support@ecoflow.com for customer support. Thanks.
Don’t get it much better and cheaper ones out there
Cheaper, yes. Better? I doubt it.
Grab that second solar panel you can pretty much have a self-sustainable man cave during the day. Even a bigger tv, let's say a 50-in, will use less than 150 watts.
Go with Jackery..! They are just more quality in my opinion.!
How fast can i charge Jackery from 1%-100% if it can be charged within 1 hour then yeah probably.
@@RodCine go ahead and buy what you want. But I'm sticking with Jackery.!

The delta I ordered did not work out of the box it needs a firmware update. Ecoflow will not return and told me 4 weeks to do a firmware update. Do not buy
F
I can’t believe that anyone would be stupid enough to get suckered into buying this product you can purchase a better quality 4000 W inverter for about $1000 this inverter will last 10 times longer than an inverter like that then you are on limited by the batteries you can buy for $200 for a lithium battery charger and another $1400 in batteries you have a much better set up and 10 years later when the batteries die you just have to buy new batteries you don’t have to replace the inverter or the charger if you want to 20 simply buy a 2200 Inverter and you will have a 220 inverter again you’re on limited by the amount of batteries you hooked on it you can get a 200 300 400 amp hour battery on Amazon and you can put as many of these batteries together as you want
Because people prefer simplicity and all in one packages.
30 minutes of use before you have to recharge it? Lol
Ill stick to my Honda and 10 gallons of gas....👌🏽
It’s not for everyone. But as far as fumeless, silent, maintenance free power, it’s one of the best.
I am rural powers out water is out 220v well and 220v septic, sump pumps dictate generator size. Everything comapared to them is small. I wish i could have something simple. I had to go 5 weeks once on gennerator power. Power still goes out minum 24 to 48 hours.
