Rotherham has banked 20+ goals a season without spending a penny because they have a manager who has a hold of the reigns while we sit on our hands. If reports are true that the club are drawing up a back-up short list then that tells us Tony's return date or IF he will return is still unknown. Sort if this week or next or move on to someone else I say. KRO

Agreed, Phil. Action is needed very soon. If there is no definite date for Tony's return, or doubt about his fitness to manage, in the longer term, it might be cheaper to pay him off generously and get another manager, compared to the potential cost of delaying such action. But who makes that decision ? Whatever we do it needs to be done recently.

The frustration is we don’t know anything the club are tight lipped about his diagnosis I’m not sure why because I don’t see anything but love and respect for Tony Mowbray ! I think letting us in on the situation would help us calm down! Anyway keep us informed young man KRO FEA 💙

look i want tm to come back but if the reports are true and we're looking for a new manager at this point if the old hull manager says yes we should just go get him and start our summer rebuild before other teams beat us to it rotherham fucking rotherham beat us to a 20+ goal striker on a free if we wanna go back up that isn't good enough nothing against rotherham but with the so called plans we have surely we should be getting that striker

Sources have said there is a date for Mowbray to receive a yes or no from doctors. Once they give their diagnosis (hopefully a good one) then the owners can release the news. I know it’s frustrating but the owners are going the right way about it. Wagner loves Mowbray and is keeping his fingers crossed. It won’t be long now. KRO👍

Personally, I don’t think he is going to come back. But as well as rebuilding the squad, I also think that the coaching stuff also needs a lot of work, don’t forget some of Wayne Rooney‘s coaching stuff are still here. We need better coaches at this football club, especially a manager who knows league one inside out who can get us out of this league very quickly, and promoted straight back to the championship and even further. Keep right on.

I have to say I’m extremely disappointed with the management yet again. I understand TM should be respected but surely we need to know what’s wrong with him and this is a business at the end of the day. If things are not sorted out we could face consecutive relegations. Pull your fingers out messers Cook and Wagner. As for TM please get well regardless and thank you regardless, you’re a top bloke
It would be nice to know what's going on. I'm sure the club will issue a statement at some point especially as there's going to be a lot of movement with blues. I can see a lot to the squad not wanting to play in league one.

Then Steve Cooper would be my First Choice
as a replacement
Is Gardner the right person to get the right players in? I don’t think so. We should appoint a technical director who has managed (someone like a retired Prem/championship ex manager)
Gardener has got the best players we could AFFORD! I am sure he would have liked to have got Bellingham, Mbappe and Kane but we were SKINT!

What should happen is old school management where manager brought the players he's wonted to an work with them it's not rocket science instead of the idea of making jobs like someone who buys the players for the manger to work with its arshole backwards
