I'm actually really happy that Sly Cooper is still loved to this day and people still make videos about the series. It brings me hope that someday, we'll get the sequel/movie/tv show we truly desire :)
1. I definitely think Neyla should still jump into Clockwerk willingly, instead of being thrown in. It fits with her conniving character, and being thrown kind of takes a bit of agency away from her character. 2. I'm not sure why you changed it so that Sly destroys the Hate Chip instead of Carmelita; that was a very important thematic moment. 3. Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't get why the Van is being lifted onto the blimp.
Nice work. There was a level in Monaco that was cut from the game. I would've adapted it as an episode. I also wanted an episode set in London where you fight Arpeggio but that feels like it would conflict with the last act. In the games Neyla was supposed to be related to Rajan but I don't think we need that here. Season 2 would be Band of Thieves unless you wanna do thieves in time first. Be a rebel.
If I wanted to start a sly cooper tv show, I would start the season with Sly 1 where we are introduced to the cooper gang and Sly slowly learn to becomea master theif with Murray slowly becomes the brawn overtime while Bently has to get out his shell to help Sly in some situatios involving computer work or operation plans. Sly 2 will be exactly like your story. Sly 3 will focus on brotherhood of the expanding cooper gang. sly 4 will be, of course, time travel with a few changes I like to make in that game. Penelope dissappear when time is altered after Le Paradox altered time with the cooper gang only ones noticed this. Sly would still have his life with Carmelita but noticed a few changed elements in history like for example, the Panda king was still causing damage to China, the Contessa is still part of interpol, Clockwerk is still alive, eg, and Murray was stated he has been part of the car racing career ever since the first game. It would be a race against time of them restoring the cooper clan linage before le paradox and his goons rewrites history. Penelope will be part of the bad guys but due to the rewrite, she doesn't have any memories of sly 3, which will be heartbreaking for Bently. Carmelita will be part of the gang during a time heist but is confused what is going on and angry with Sly's betrayal until shehears them out. sly and the gang will meet the most famous ancestors along the way where the villians in those games along with alternate versions of past villians and friends workingwith le paradox, restoring time, until it lead up to his own father, where Le Paradox offers him a chance to go back in time and stop Clockwork from killing his own father, rewrite time completely. However Sly refused, leading up to the final battle. Sly won and the timeline is restored, ending off where Sly and Carmelita were at in the start of the fourth game.
An idea I wanted to run with (if forced to stay with the 11 minute run time) was a season 1 played straight with the introduction to original goons that try to control Paris from the seedy underbelly. With Bentley having a "secret project" working as the ongoing plot as to why some goons Sly and the Gang would steal some trinkets and keepsakes that Bentley would point out as valuable items useful to his project. Ancient items, old medallions, a crown, yadda yadda. You get what I'm cluing in. Season 1 finale would be the gang going up against a reimagined Cyrille LeParadox who've used a certain spy (aka Penelope who was never her real identity) to get close to the gang and use Bentley's project to help in his goal of reshaping the timeline to further his family's control over France. The ending to the finale being of course the Gang defeating Cyrille and having to shut off the time machine, but in time to have someone fall out of it. Revealing it to be non other than Sly Cooper from Sly4, who's taken an artifact from pre-robot Clockwerk in hopes of getting back to his time. Season 2 basically focusing on repairing the time machine, finding out what the Sanzaru Sly has been dealing with in his timeline, and introducing other potential timelines that may shed light to what can of worms Bentley has opened up. ' w' yeah my idea may be a bit more whack.
I am shocked at all of the reworking that people have been giving Sly 4! It is everyone's go-to story for a TV story and I find that really interesting haha
@@ManiacReviews I feel like Sly4 had a good story to work with, but its framing (pacing?) would fit much better with a cartoon series to give it proper pauses. Or multi-parters that could give people time to think about what's to come next. Include more character development, give some of it to characters that got skipped over due to the need of moving the plot along. The game, while worked to its best ability, still fell short as it made seeing the plot play out as a one-time experience that you can shoot through like a canon of whip cream through walls of tissue paper. And the lack of smaller tidbits between/in missions feels like a massive chunk of character development is lost due to that progression. Like- It's one thing to hear Sly say that Bentley came out of the break with Penelope just fine. It's a whole other story if we actually got to see Bentley grapple with Penelope's betrayal.
If I had control of the show the first season would be the Thevious Racoonus Arc and season 2 would be the Band of Thieves arc the stories would be the same. But as for the Honor Among Thieves Arc for season 3 I would merge it a little bit with Thieves in Time and instead make Dr M a secondary antagonist working for the main villain of season 3 and as a secret twist I would make the villain a surviving Cooper based on that evil looking Sly Cooper concept art who bears hatred toward his own family and yes time travel would be involved as I would later reveal that Dr M was the one who made the Time Blimp and went back in time to turn Clockwerk robotic as a way to ensure Sly's father never existed due to his hatred for him, while also explaining the backstory of Clockwerk and the Hate Chip and the Evil Cooper would be none the wiser of this act until the near end of the season. The other villains from Honor Among Thieves and Thieves in Time would be used as both filler episodes and ways to bring the newer members of the Cooper Gang together. The Cooper Vault would be built up upon as the Evil Cooper's endgame goal with Sly being surprised that the Cooper Vault even exists as he never even knew he had an inheritance. I would even make the series a little darker and make the fights as epic and detailed as an anime and even build upon Sly and the gangs abilities and gadgets throughout the series. Sly and Carmelita's romance would be similar and as serious as Batman and Catwoman only more funny and Sly's story would also end for good retiring with Carmelita, however Sly and Carmelita would plan the fake amnesia story to the police as a way to finally be together forever ending the series and story of the Cooper Gang I would even throw in a more romantic kiss scene as we have never seen them kiss at least with Carmelita's consent.
If Sony isn't going to do anything with Sly Cooper just give it to Netflix they created Skylanders, which lets be honest was a Spyro series with Crash Bandicoot as a guest character. So if Netflix can at least give us an enjoyable Sly Cooper series if Sony isn't interested, just give it to them. #RestoreSlyCooperCartoon #RestoreSlyCooperGames
I love your version honestly perfect but me I’m a lot more idk vicious💢with my take on villains and I’d use the tv show to make a whole new story a lot more dark and diving into the criminal world more in depth with exploring murders and brutal assaults that tie into the thefts👁, not committed by the cooper gang seeing how they follow a moral code of ethics the gang would be exactly like themselves but much more mature, I actually might make a fan comic about it maybe while I’m thinking about it 😶
@@doclouis4236 I've discovered that Sanzaru Games wants to make a sequel to thieves in time, only they need Sony to give the go-ahead because they own the IP and it seems like the company doesn't care about the Sly Cooper franchise anymore, which really sucks since it looks like Sly might be fated to be trapped in ancient Egypt for good unless Sanzaru Games or Sucker Punch manages to buy the rights of the Sly franchise off Sony.
@@goofnutgav That's old news, Sanzaru now currently works for Facebook gaming, so there's an unlikely chance that they might return to make another Sly Cooper game. Unless there's some work around to having them make a Playstation exclusive game again, I don't know. But after hearing recent news about Sony's new CEO, Jim Ryan, and how he wants to make nothing but cinematic games and focus on first party studios that have major success, it leaves me guessing that we might not get another Sly game at all. But there's still that rumored Sly Cooper TV series that's going through a lot of development troubles. There's still a chance that might come out.

Sony managed to get Uncharted into production, so maybe we will see the Cooper Gang return? Just maybe by someone else and in a new art style.
