I'm a bystander for this war. I'll watch with interest.
I will be with Legacy Coalition. I used to live on the border with Goons. They were OK neighbors, but annoying. (Once they entosised one of our systems to get content despite the NIP. They would routinely roam into my crabbing system. We also had problems from the remnants of Stain Wagon and Red Alliance at the time.) When CO2 fail-cascaded after Judgment day we took their space. Now, I look forward to being on the border and defending that space again... along with the other fronts of the war.
Frankly, the economic stagnation and lack of destruction has not been good for EVE. Capital and Supercapital stocks are too inflated. They were too easy to build for too long. We need to destroy value in a big, knock down-drag-out conflict. Legacy needs to lose ships. Goons need to experience more loss. And Goons were making it hard for new Alliances to grow and shift balances of power between coalitions. This could break enough power blocks and add more vibrancy to the game again. Smaller units may form from destroyed alliances and have a chance to really grow. What's more... it will crush the emerging political stagnation. Everyone will lose something in this war. And everyone will benefit in the long run.
Yeah the whole thing about it is almost a game of chess - who is going to commit their capital fleets first? Sure Goons have currently lost a 40+ battleship fleet and lost territory can be reclaimed, but the only real way to get them to break is to manage to break their capital fleet, and they do have a lot of supers floating around.

Every time I feel I need to take a step back from EVE, something happens that drags me back. I guess I just need to face facts... I lust after these "GLORY BATTLES".
They are a few and far in between, I'd stay retired if I were you lol.

@@redpillpatriot4739 Yeah, I think people are going to burn out. Fountain and Delve has structures everywhere, its going to be an absolute pain to siege them all. We are going to see less and less response from the defenders from the looks of it.
If you want to go roam around Delve for kills then you should have a lot of fun since its a target rich environment.

@@AHigherPerspective well, start of this war was a big disappointed to me. As a new player (3 months) and new goon line member I expected what everyone said - big invasion from test and panfam. What I experienced since war start is that the only fights I get are on test territory (usually they drop munning fleets on jackdaws with falcons), some small encounters on north with fraternity and... that's all. Nothing is going on in Delve, no fights, not serious attacks, even test cloaky campers are laughable (mostly red killboard on alpha 000 xxx accounts, no cap kills, just some ratting cheap ships).
So, as a normal player, line member, apart from propaganda of both sides - there is almost nothing serious going on. Test said they will live in delve and nothing serious is going on - test only defend their space. Goons said they will erase test - and there is nothing serious going on too. I hope this will escalate because currently it's calm. Chill fleets, no serious losses, both side are like "no fight until we can blueball enemy".
@@hultaji So keep in mind we're in the early stages, this war will likely go on for months if not into next year. Thanks to early free intel when the 'invasion' would begin, Goons immediately went on the offensive as soon as the NIP ended and reinforced something like 70% of Test's ihubs, jump gates, and numerous other structures in their territory and have been running fleets around the clock since. Goons are being more aggressive than test at the moment because we're significantly outnumbered (on paper) and most of the battles are being fought on the periphery of goon space outside of the occasional test gate gamp outside 1dq1 or subcap incursion into test territory. Once test and friends get their act together you're likely to see larger engagements more often.

I am Carebear of the yer 8 times in a row in the past 2 years. That how much of a Carebear i am. But i am in Brave, so it's safe to say i am on Legacy side. My goal for the war is to help, without making a name for myself, in neither a good or a bad way.
Make sure to fly in the Brave little Attrons for tackle oh those were the days being in Brave. Getting on Kill mail on a titan by suiciding into a capital ship.

Im not fighting, i was a part of Frat and i dont like goons, they flew frome time to time with fleets 100+ in or pretty near of our systems so i died often to them. I look forward to watch the war unfold so i can learn more about the whole ordeal

I keep wanting to play it, because I've long yearned for a good sci-fi capital ship game - which is basically non-existent in the market - but I'm just a little too action oriented to deal with EVE's approach to combat, I think.
@@Vastin if you don't have these massive "tidi" time dilation fights, it's ofc running smooth and your adrenaline is going up playing solo or even small gang. I can guarantee you that
I do not play Eve Online, but my experience with Goons in other games is this: they bring all their numbers to one fight. When presented with multiple fights, they had a hard time dividing their numbers proportionally to meet multiple threats. Scout them and which ever squad is in danger of being crushed by the goons death ball, have it fade away. This may or may not be true of Eve's Goon Leadership, like I said, I've never played Eve online. I do however enjoy your videos, good hunting.
lol its about the other way around. We definitely are out numbered but I think we personally manage multiple fleets and squads much more efficiently. It'll be a fun war regardless of the outcome :) that's all that really matters.
@Joseph This is soooo true lol. In Querious we had a 100 man Harpy frigate fleet, they dropped 500 Cruisers and Supercarriers. Meanwhile down South in Paragon the rest of legacy was crushing the rest of their forces. Nice one goons, it's like you don't even want to win.

This is EvE and Goons we are talking about. There is a front-line. The first big keepstar close to Delve/Fountain that will have all the titans defending it. If it falls and Goons lose the supercapital fight - they will run and Legacy/Pandafam will push onward with all their might and history will repeat itself. If it stands, it will all end up in one big empty blueball standoff. Again.

does get me wondering what the Triglavian part of things is thinking about this escalation. A third party suddenly popping in would be something completely unexpected from large masses use to large scale assaults
Wouldnt surprise me if some small group try to get a bombing run in on our fleets or something. I remember an entire Raven fleet being wiped out by bombers a few years ago. Took them right out of the fight in the first 5min lol.

Nice Video, I'm wondering if you understand that Am0k. corporation, just Am0k. corporation has more Titan and Supercapital Class ships than capitals were deployed on that fortizar, all TEST has done is wake the ancient veterans that were dormant due to the boring nature of this new EvE online. Am0k. is recruiting. #gay4jay. If you had attacked without TEST you probably, ironicaly would have had an easier time. We broke Panfams back when we cyno'd in supercarriers at 0 and tackled everything, Panfam will never engage Titans or Supers against the Imperium. Truth of this has been seen as only regular cap cache's are moving to staging. If you half ass this, you will only feed. Either you engage your shit and hope TEST doesn't betray you if you do, or the Imperium wins anyway. The hate of TEST has brought so many of the old players back it's ridiculous, the idea of stuffing piggles and vily's ego's down their stupid looking faces is what made most of us return.

Just check out any corp of an alliance you are interested in, they usually have a public channel ingame where you can join and apply to join. We are now in Northern Coalition.

They exist but as of recently they've been getting their shit kicked in because people actually have brains. I've been killing catalysts left and right. And then they come back in more. They don't like it after you killed them at least two or three times.

Use every advantage you possibly can find my friend. I play solo and have made over 6 billion ISK just buying Ammo cheap af and reselling it, but I started before the war started with my collecting.

@@AHigherPerspective I started when CCP changed the short range ammo types like Void to be semi broken. I looked around and found ammo for literally ISK pennies you just needed to be smart and have the moxy to go to hellish places camped out to get it in bulk. It wasn't easy but I lost no cargo ships transporting it but some stations I literally had to wait in with a cargo alt for a week or even longer to wait out the 24/7 camping there. lol

The only thing keeping me from playing is the insanity on screen. Way too much color explosions for me, can't actually see anything and gives me headaches. Looks like it would be a blast though.
And I'll just have to wait to graduate from the uni so that one day I can get in war's.
