YOUR STYLE. YOUR GEAR.
Harley Benton's greatest model yet, period.
Its one of our best sellers so you're totally correct :)
I recently received my TE-52. Before that, I played for 10 years on Squier Affinity Tele. TE-52 is more massive, but it is a pleasant weight, solidity. The sound is awesome, the guitar is already tuned. For this price, it is simply stunning, simple, pleasant, convenient. Thanks HB. Greetings from St. Petersburg, Russia.
Thanks for that demo.
In my opinion, with that kind of guitars you should make clean samples. My 2 cents.
Hi thanks for your input! We figured it might be interesting to hear that guitar in a crunchy setting, like you've heard that style of guitar on so many records. Check out Jonathans' review for some cleaner tones! czcams.com/video/vXFtDTXJ8IQ/video.html
just got one...unbelievable guitar for the money.bought as a base project...but nothing to alter ....its great
These are interesting reviews. My poshest guitar (I'm not a professional btw) is a 1988 Japanese Fender Stratocaster, a beautiful guitar when it's set up properly but you practically need an engineering degree to set up the Kahler floating tremolo. I'm looking for a simple, inexpensive but good quality electric; I've only read good reviews of this instrument so far and can't quite believe the price. My musical preferences are Pixies, Faith No More, Mazzy Star, Prince, alt-rock. Do you reckon it's worth getting one?
@@jonathanwalker8730 Not sure if you're still looking for a simple, inexpensive, but good quality electric guitar, but this would definitely be the one. You might want to swap the nut and string trees for a couple better ones, and maybe put some Wilkinson brass intonated saddles in that thing but other than that it's absolutely spot on. More than enough twang-sound out of this Telecaster with those ""in-house"" pickups that seem to do the job well enough.
I'd go for it!
Greetings from Belgium! I received mine last week and it's amazing!
Dear Thomann and Harley Benton: if you want to make a lot of money with low investment, just make another TE52 (same specs, same wood, same everything) but without the neck pickup, Esquire style (ESQ51?). I'm 100% sure this would be a instant-hit!
Ok I am sold. Getting one!!
Please add more colors to the TE Vintage series!
Pink Paisley Ash Tele, for example... ;)
Vince Gill, clearly !!! Killer player. His tone with his 53' Tele blonde and Rivera amp is just to die for. (just got my TE-52 NA, I love it)
Just picked one of these up (Latest version with Roswell pickups), used but 'as new' condition for GBP £68! Couldn't be happier.
Mine has usurped all my other favourite guitars (one of them a Fender); it is absolutely outstanding!

Mine arrived yesterday (Texas). Ordered from Thomann on the 23rd. I am stunned at how nice it is. Way above expectations.
i like what yall did with this guitar, the tuners will need changed and the saddles need to be switched to brass but at 130 bucks you can not beat this guitar at all.
I have a TE-52, I can't believe how good it really is!
Thanks so much Ken, we are glad you like your TE-52 so much :)

I love my SC550 too
love that tele.... I realy wish Harley Benton would release a sligthly higher end classic or improved vintage tele (like what you did with the fusion series)...
Hmmmm ;)
I agree, maybe even a 4 way switch
@@RalphPacheco2 That is a good idea :)
@@HarleyBentonOfficial and sea foam green !! xD
@@Svorn oh lord have mercy
Have mine for a month now. Neck pickup is killer good!
I was a strat person but ive personally switched to teles they're the best workhorse ever
my dream guitars have always been these types of telcasters
Just ordered one. Can’t wait for it to get here. Been wanting a tele style guitar for quite sometime so I finally committed. I’m not the greatest player on the planet but I enjoy myself and I think this will be a great addition to my little bedroom studio. If this thing sounds like it does in these videos and plays well and stays in tune, how can a person go wrong for that kind of money. In 1988 I bough my first guitar, it was a Gibson Epiphone Strat style guitar with the banana headstock and a locking Steinberger tremolo on it and I remember it costing around $300 and back in that day that was a significant chunk of change for a teenager. Well that guitar when I check it out now has potential but there is so much about it that is not so good. Now apparently you can spend significantly less money and get a great guitar. In the synthesizer world there are new products being made by Behringer that are so cheap compared to other analog synths and they are amazing. I guess the same is tru for guitars too. Got to love it. I’m all excited to get my new tele. I just hope the shipping doesn’t take forever. I hate waiting. Even if it has flaws, for less than $170 with shipping, I’ll be a nappy camper. At absolute worst I think it’ll be a fun project guitar and with a little tweaking it’ll be an amazing instrument that’ll be worth way more than it cost.
A year later. How do you like it still? I've just ordered one.
Next for Harley Benton I think should be upgrading these (with a price bump if needed or course) with better tuners and a less glossy, more "vintage" finish. All the HB guitars I've seen have been great but the finish on the body is a but too plasticky. I mean, you can't ask more for the price, but an upgrade would be super welcome. I feel they have a better finish on the DC Jr, but I'm not sure as I haven't seen them in person.
Yes I agree! A finish maybe not expensive as Nitro, but still can be wear out in years, and can be something like EVH Frankenstrat.
Just picked one of these gems used for under 100.00. Should sound really nice going through my Kemper, and various tube amps. The wood alone was worth the dough imo.
Awesome 😎
It looks and sounds very nice!
love the sound the backing track
love it .. ordered mine and looking forward to it now
You will like it :)
How long did it take to arrive. I just ordered the 76 explorer
52 - the magic numbers \m/
I have one. I love it!
a lot of people say they are great for the money. I have one and I think they are great period.
When will you open online HB customshop?
It looks great...Ive been looking for a guitar for open e tuning... I think this may just be the one....
Good choice, Rock on!
Really interested in this but would like to see a picture of the neck profile vs a fender player strat
How about a Pro Series TEs and STs?
The bodies and pickups of the TEs/STs + roasted necks and hardware of the Fusions.
I've seen this guitar compared to various others, including the Squire Affinity Telecaster and the Fender '52 Tele reissue but it seems to be most like the Squire Classic Vibe 50's Tele. Can anyone say from experience whether the CV is worth twice as much money? Are its components or fit/finish noticeably better in the hand? Thank you, Harley Benton, for providing me a way to have a good instrument of my own. Peace.
You're welcome Joel :)
Buying one
Do you have idea when its going to be available again?
I hope you'll do a presentation of the DC-Junior!
We will for sure!
Favourite tele players. hmm Out of the old guard Johnny Hiland and Roy Buchanan are two, Nowadays.. well i like Graham Coxon.
Are there any higher specced T-Style guitars with classic pickup configuration planned? I love the Fusion T but hate the HH configuration. I feel there should really be a "fusion" (pun fully intended) of what you're doing with the Fusion series in terms of lack of back-plate, high fret access, locking tuners, stainless steel frets and the class T-style credentials as shown with the TE-52.
Me likey!
I'll have to get me one of these.... seems like a nice platform for mods and upgrades.
Just have to get rid of some stuff i have laying around first, don't think my wife will like it if the box from Thomann comes in and i'm like :"Now honey,.... let me explain............"
👍👍👍👍
If neck could be dark......i think。。。。 100% perfect !
amazing guitar, but pleaaaaase, consider making one with a humbuckers in the neck position, Keith style.
Yeeehaaw !
@@HarleyBentonOfficial I love you
I just ordered one. Can’t wait to spank the plank.
Nice, enjoy :)
quero comprá ela no Mercado Livre
Lovely guitar. Which in your opinion would be the most versatile Harley Benton swiss army knife electric guitar for playing most types of music ? Thanks.
This or the HB-35 :)
will it be anything for us metalheads on this channel?
Hi yes! We got some cool stuff planned for you too :)
What signal chain are you running this through, it sounds great! I own one and can say I'm very, very happy.
Thanks so much my friend. Signal chain is, Guitar, HB OD-5 into Marshall 1978x.
Why not a 7.25" radius like a 1952 tele?
It great guitar to play love the neck better my 52 original
Do all TEs have medium jumbo frets?
I got mine today, a few hours ago. I can't put it down. How is this guitar 10X less than a Fender Telecaster? 10X???
Weeerkom! Nice guitar, I like its simplicity, and also it looks quite good, that bi-color stuff, I dig it! Only drawback, its fucking weight, 4.5 kilos, come on Harley!:-7
Can you guys tell me if this has the option of installing an humbucker on the neck? Some guitars of this model when you take the pickguard i only see a single coil entrance and on others i see a more wide entrance which i suppose that can be for an humbucker. Can someone please shed some light on this? Thank you guys
When get more te52 to your shop any idea?
Hi, they will be back around September!
Can I play "Straight on for you - Heart" on this guitar.
I play acoustic since 2 years and have now this guitar and don't know how to tune it.
Herr gut! \m/
Thanks :)
@@HarleyBentonOfficial ;o)
How thick is the body? I didn’t see that anywhere on the website.
I have one, I don't like it. I guess QC was on holidays when mine was going through ;)
I am considering buying one right now. What is wrong with yours? There are hundreds of positives reviews out there.
@@yuriiruban5986 maybe I wasn't lucky enough. It is simply low quality. I don't like to play it.
Hi, if somethings totaly wrong with your guitar, you can always send it back and we will do our best to get you the guitar you are totaly happy with!
@@HarleyBentonOfficial shipping back from Iceland probably costs more than guitar. I will just try again with Fusion II :-)
Amps and pedal used in this video?
Marshall Origin 50 and OD-5 :)
Why there is no classic guitars (Strat,Tele lespaul Ect) with stainless steel Frets and nice looking baked necks?. Just the modern ones … I wish Harley Benton produce at least every guitar type in one high end version . Especially with stainless steel frets .
What are the big differences between this model and the TE-70? The only thing I can really see beyond the paint job is the Wilkinson bridge with the brass saddles. Are there any other other important differences between the models? They're currently the exact same price.
HEY!, Harley Benton! Do you need new guitar ideas? Because I have very cool idea, what some people like to buy. B/G/ Double/Hand Benders. Because in European markets these things are really, really, really rare, and most of the time Bender guitars are really expensive. There is very big marketing hole, then why not use it.
te -80 or te-52 better sound?
Depends on what you are looking for. The TE-52 is definitely the classic one :)
@@HarleyBentonOfficial how te-52 differs from te-80. I found no differences other than the maple top and the bridge. the tuners do not affect the sound I think ... are the pickups different?
Why not make it 22 frets?!
Cause most people want 21 on that style of guitar :)
@@HarleyBentonOfficial That's nonsense. 22 frets is standard on Modern Fenders why not offer the same? 21 frets is a hindrance in some songs and circumstances.
@@richardpress9551 The thing is that is not a modern style guitar. Hence the name `52.
Too much backing track, can’t hear the guitar.
Thanks for the input.
Boat paddle ha ha
demo vid with just fuzzy sound dont make sense at all, sry ... and get rid of these animaion noises, pls!
Thanks for your input!
Classic neck radius in a Fender Telecaster is 9.5´´ . 12 is to flat
Hi Carlos , classic 50 style would be 7.25", so we did change that for ease of playing.
