- Lead Guitarist JOHN WARBAT'S Guitars are featured in this video as soundtrack right from the start (jingle) to the end..Snipets of his blistering guitar works are taken from his official rock group the mighty PAINIM WOK BAND and his part-time PACIFIC GOLD STUDIOS band, the original ITAMBU.John Warbat is a self-taught guitarist who has been at the forefront of PNG music back in the 70s,when there was no Chm studio,only Greg Seeto's SOUND STREAM STUDIOS operating in Rabaul which later became the PACIFIC GOLD STUDIOS in 1981 where all these great albums were recorded, and musicians such as George Telek,John Wong,Leonard Kania,Quakes,,Patti Potts Doi,Barike ,Riot Squad, PAINIM WOK etc etc were first introduced to PNG and the Pacific .

Great collection! I’m jealous. I lost all mine while I was at Uni. You should archive them to the cloud so we don’t lose these music forever. Pacific Gold Studio lost their entire library during the twin eruption. Take good care of your collection, they’re priceless.
