Back in high school (circa 1975), I built an AM (broadcast) receiver that used 2 receivers. The first receiver was a rudimentary broadband receiver and existed just provide a power source, similar to what you built. The second receiver was a very selective and sensitive super regenerative receiver using a couple germanium transistors and was powered by the first receiver. So it was an AM radio receiver powered by AM radio transmitters. While it still required a little crystal earphone, it picked up stations from all over the country at night powered only by local AM stations near Bell Gardens (Los Angeles). The 50,000 Watt KFI transmitter (640 kHz) was only 10 miles away.

Hi Michael, I'm age 66 in October, and years ago, I was browsing Books-A-Million, and I was checking out some electronics books, skimming pages and came across an experiment, it was an electronic projects book,, which at the time, I wish I could have bought it. But one of the projects if you put it together, claims that it can generate "9" Volts Just from An RF Signal!! RF as in "Radio Frequency" I keep believing that if you were to use transformers small ones for starters and keep using inverters on and on until it reaches high power, you can take away the batteries in a Electric Vehicle!! And power all kinds of things. If a car battery can power an inverter, and that inverter can power a 1000W (add appliance ) and from that a bigger one. All from that 9 volt circuit that I never bought. I wonder if the book is still available. I didn't catch the author's name. But there are still project books still available I guess. Anyway I feel you are on the track that I wanted to try out. But I have Essential Tremors or shaky hands, and I would have to give up because of that. Please keep trying, I know I would if I could. Yep, free energy from all radio stations! Thanks Terry of north Fla.

Newton's first law is about perpetual motion.
Very famous examples of this law are our space probes Voyager 1 & 2, that travel perpetually trough space, away from our solar system.
On Earth however, there will always be some friction that restricts the percentage of perpetuallity of any motion.

Then he used pulsed DC, neon sign transformer, laser module or any high voltage source to disturb the ambient, aether ir whatever other like term you want to use, to get into HF and HV. He successfully made numerous devices to make a self sustaining energy where the potential was Volts equal amperage. This he did by magnetic resonance.

In your case, it would be a galena radio, but the problem is that the energy needs to come from somewhere, so there would have to be a transmission and collection radio that could resonantly amplify the work, and it would still have to avoid heat losses or a thermoelectric system would be used to compensate for the work.

Kind of reminds me of the idea of running a length of wire (or a metal fence) parallel to suspended high tension power lines and pulling off power from it through inductance. Illegal of course because it actually slightly draws power off the lines reducing the power at the destination. But certainly there must be a way to harness some significant amount of power from the magnetic field surrounding the earth. No?

I also wonder if coils with ferrite core might make any difference as well. I think you are using auto-transformer configuration. Decoupling primary from secondary and creating a 2 diode full wave rectifier (3 connection secondary, not graetz bridge) might change something too, but I have no preconceived idea or clue. Finally, it would be nice if one could gather energy from several of these circuits after rectifying voltage. Cheers man.

I mean, you are scavenging radio energy. Its not really perpetual since something had to power those AM towers. I also tried exactly what you are making here, it had such low wattage I couldn't even power a calculator. I bet you would get a lot more power if you walked under some high tension power lines though lol

True, I mentioned that as long as the radio stations are on the air the bee will move. You could wrap a coil around an extension cord and get a hundred times more electricity.

@@michaelsimpson5417 Going under high tension lines would be a really cool test lol. And yea, I know you didn't call it free energy, but it's no more perpetual than the flower toy. Back when I tried this, I wrapped like 8' of PVC. I got very little power, less than those indoor solar panels so I just gave up on the idea lol. In retrospect, I bet that extra wrapping didn't gain me much, maybe parallel coils would have done more.

@@Vsorthere are actually videos on CZcams of guys drawing pretty dangerous amounts of power doing what you suggest.

@@alphabeets I bet you could get some decent voltage with a really fine wire and a super high turn count coil, but I would highly doubt you can reach anything near dangerous voltage OR power levels with a 100 turn air-cored coil like that. I used to walk under high tension power lines daily, and I had many coiled up cables in my laptop bag. I can confirm at no point did they reach dangerous potentials.

This energy comes from the ether from the waves. Or exactly from the radio station transmitter, probably not. Because the wave, electrons are all around us. If you connected the secondary coil to the antenna and this toy to the coil and to the ground, this toy would burn so much energy that it would go a lot.

A contradiction, do we all know ?. perpetual motion breaks the laws of the universe, (and then) there is energy all around us perpetually all the time ?
