I remember we were all so "gung-ho" when Adena was emotionally cheating on CoCo (her girlfriend of 2 yrs) with Kat, and now people are upset at how all of this is playing out. This is Kat's journey/process, which is different for all of us. Her going out with Leila made her realize that it's not only Adena she is attracted to, but other women as well. Their relationship is very much realistic, but it was also rushed (regardless of the feelings). I believe they will take a break from one another, but it will only make them stronger in the end. I want to see how Kat deals with not having Adena in her space 24/7 now.

It took me a few days to process epi 6.😡😄😄 Going from "I love you too" to Exploring another woman's mouth with her tongue....?.... was a bit much and confusing for me. 😄 Kat did not feel like a cheater. Yes, she is impulsive but not reckless. She hit a strange man because he pushed someone she cared deeply about. I don't fault her for that. But when checked and not checked she does the right thing. The text that she wanted to send in season 1 she did not send once she thought through because it was the best way for her to help Adena. Also, Adena was not a curiosity thing. She may have (imo) fell in love for the 1st time. She chose Adena over a lifestyle that she was comfortable with. That was brave and a huge step towards maturing. Adena is the one person " that throws her off her game" Adena's being away and that temptress Leila gave my girl a Peter moment. Kat gets those a lot with Adena too.🙄. This is scary for her. Commitment comes with to many feelings. Concersely, Adena was a commital person. She was not a cheater either. . She fell I love with Kat and the power of love compelled her impulsively act on her emotions. I hope Kadena will be the end game. I still believe the writers took the easy trope way out to create drama for Kadena. But over all they are doing a great job, and I really enjoy this show. I am proud that Kat is did the right thing by telling Adena the truth. And like you said, this is Kat's journey. Adena needs a break too. To find out who she is without being in a relationship. She will gain patience and comit with no one else unless she is in love. Coco may have been a friend with benefits that ran its couse.?. She was not happy with Coco ,and Kat clearly makes her happy. Aisha and Nikohl's acting is so awesome to watch. Amazing. I am a huge fan of these two women. 😍 I also hope they give Adena a storyline of her own without Kat. It is time for her to be strong and realize the awesome person she has become. Kat is worth the wait. Stand on the sidelines and help guide Kat through this phase. Am I happy that there is Kadena angst, No. Can I see Adena’s point when they talked about what happened, Yes. Kat’s only girlfriend has been Adena. She really hasn’t explored that new part of herself yet. It’s And I’m not too worried about this either, Kadena is endgame, and the writers know it. I love that even though Kat and Sutton had were given time to stay at home by Jane, they didn’t listen and went to go support her at the awards when she won. That’s friendship goals.
Great reaction and perspectives. This is yet another journey for Kat to finally realize that Adena is her home. And she deserves to be love by a woman who is as awesome and beautiful as Adena. Adena was very mature 'cause she's had A Lot of partners. Makes me wonder if they're going to explore a poly/open relationship. If they do, that'll be interesting to see how they handle it.
