A sweet celebration of a notable creative achievement! Thanks for the bonus length, it didn't feel long. It was action packed and full of surprises! Hard to believe you did it in only three years. Boy, the last three years have been a ride. I suppose the next milestone will be two years from now? I look forward to sharing that with you and Zeus.
TY for your consistency in vlogging every Sunday AND for teaching us how to better play Hold’em. It’s been only a bit over a year that I’ve followed your vlog and during that time I’ve become a better player and able to play for higher stakes than I ever did. Lastly, I am very pleased that we have become friends, my visits to Sacramento have been very enjoyable and great experiences. I’m looking forward to our next meeting there or in Austin, or perhaps at a meet up game in another location. Say hello to your family and Zeus for me. Until next time, continued good luck at the tables.
@@dougmccuskerpoker and a little luck always helps, but the main credit goes to your teaching me in person and by vlogs. Keep me posted on any travel plans or meetups you might do.
Thank you Doug for all your hard work and dedication!! Congratulations to Zeus!! I look forward to watching your videos every Sunday! Thank you for that!!!
Congrats on 200 Doug ... hard to believe its been 3 years.... I enjoy that you have not changed your 1/3 play .... I find it hard to watch other vlogers at such high stakes now...
Solid action for vlog 200 Doug. If only 10's guy made the tightest fold! I wonder if he might have had the guy to your left not banged the table. We'll never know.
Hey Jake, good to hear from you and thanks for dropping a comment. Hope all is well, miss my old friends from the Bay. Its been tooo long, we need to find some time to meet up.
Congratulations Doug! Even though I just found your channel, I find it to very educational and entertaining. I’ve started watching all of your blogs from the beginning and I’m on number 23. Only 177 more before I catch up.
Congratulations on number 200. I really enjoy watching you play and trying to learn tips and tricks from you. Looking forward to many more and wishing you all the run good in the world.
Wow! 🤩 congratulations on 200 vlogs! Doug, you are a model of consistency! I truly appreciate your content!! Keep em coming and 10K subscribers will be here in a blink of an eye!
First off I respect that card house allows that type of buy in for 1-3$… To be able to buy in for 1K is good for the game because it allows real poker to be played… That type of buy in allowed you to fold your top pair with a flush draw, because if you call that $100 bet your probably not good if the flush doesn’t get there, and you might not be good if it does get there also… Casinos or card houses that cap a buy in at $500 for 2/5 is crazy, if you get AK the money’s going in… I live in Michigan and the charity card houses are fun but insane because they cap all buy ins at $400… Lot of action but also poker bingo is played
I do prefer deeper stack poker, those short stack games are awful in my opinion. At Capitol, you can match the stack of any 1-3 game running. Often you could buy in for 2k or more.
Your discipline is why I rate your vlog high. Day 1, top pair and a flush draw against 2 players. I would have called the flop, folded on the trips when a boat was evident for at least one, and in this case, both. That was a savvy multiple caller play. But I play in Texas where the continuation range in a 3 person flop seems wider than in the capital of California. But still an impressive lay down.
Doug, enjoy your blog. We haven’t met yet but I’ve seen you at Capital. You were playing the tournament I believe. What time do you play 1/3? I’d like to play at the same table with you some time.
Day 1 and 2 I bought for 1k. It’s a match the stack of any 1-3 game running. Day 3 I only bought in for 500, the big stack joined the table late and I didn’t match.

what in the collusion is going on with the Qh10h hand? both randoms have a full house and 9's full only bets $5 and the dude with 7's full only calls? then exposes 99 before the river??? "friendly" poker huh?
Congrats on 200 Doug. Next up… 10,000 subscribers!!
Thanks Alex! Hopefully 10k soon!
Like the QThearts laydown. A disciplined fold that I admire. Gamboolers can't do this. Players can.
I had a solid read, would be silly to chase.
Congratulations keep up the great content.
Thanks, I will do my best

a person that is smart enough to learn from dogs is worthy of

Good lay-down on the first hand. 90% of other players would go broke there.
I had a good read, chasing while drawing thin is harmful to your bankroll. 😀
Doug! I am grateful to you, because I am entertained by your game. I'm happy with you if you win, and sad with you if you lose. Thanks!
Thanks for those kind words, I hope to keep you happy for both of our sakes. 😀

No poker loses to write off all the consistent winnings. A run for the ages.
I do suffer loses, I just try to minimize them as much as possible.
What a great fold on that first hand. Very impressed.
I had a good read, if he slow played it I would have lost more.

I had a good read, made the lay down easier. There are many times that I would get trapped with that kind of hand without a good read.
Thank you and congratulations! ...feel like I need to write a song for Zeus....

Commenting only partway through the video, but KJ and AQ hands, where do you find these guys lol. NE poker is a lot tougher
Action at Capitol can be really good.
What is max buy-in for your game. Looks like most of the time you start with 500, but for Day 2 of this log did you buy in for 1,000?
Day 1 and 2 I bought for 1k. It’s a match the stack of any 1-3 game running. Day 3 I only bought in for 500, the big stack joined the table late and I didn’t match.
