Yeah the biggest strategy for this guy is pretty much just to not press space lol

Learned that one the hard way... but that and keeping your strat simple seem to be the keys to the castle with our boy Bernie here :)

You are playing the game at a faster than normal speed which is making the timer less than 3 seconds.

@phildecau when I read you comment I 100% couldn't believe it, so I opened the game and tested it and you're totally correct and it's blowing my mind! That is definitely not the way that should work, lol!!!! Thank you for the comment!

There's been some discussion in the discord about how that works and as annoying as it is if they changed it that would give ultra speed an advantage

@AstralArbourSys not sure I 100% follow the logic here. Why would ultra have an advantage if the physics simulation was also carried out at 1x but replayed at a speed determined by the player? Seems like the game should behave the same regardless of the speed setting your selected.
Thinking a bit more about this perhaps you're talking about how Bernie's timing going slower but the objects resolving faster would give the player more time to decide what's next... which if i'm being honest doesn't sound like such a massive difference, while the disadvantage of the timer whizzing by is a pretty massive one. Seems like timer being constant would be the lesser of two evils to me at least.
