wow, I see that patio and what a great Job that Tom and the boys did!!.. but i noticed how HIGH that patio is from the Steep fall beyond. A retaining wall is being used to hold the Earth in place... but wow... I'd be worried about heavy rainfall and some Slipping of earth... and then the entire patio collapses. I give these Home Owners credit for building there. No Doubt all the surveying and engineering led to Approved Designs and supports. More so, Impressive how Tom and his crew can navigate these "mine fields" to get the Trucks in and pour concrete.. :) Concrete with the Hauses RULES! Outdoors with the Morgans DROOLS... (Just Kidding) :) my two favorite CZcams Channels..

It's so nice to see concrete not so fluid that it self levels. Some of the crews around here could have poured in one corner and it would have flowed all the way around without moving the truck. Nice job on the patio. Merry Christmas.

I used real bricks on my patio border. Had to poor lower ledge to accommodate thickness. Bricks are hard fired paving type with bull nose edge… it was expensive but looks great. Overplayed concrete patio with red Colorado limestone flakes… power washed last spring and sealed.

Pointing out the minor imperfections wasn't that necessary as we wouldn't have noticed wout you pointing it out. No one's perfect. The perfection comes from the ability to correct it. I remember once an aggregate walk that wasn't so minor, but when TSH left the site, the walks were 100% perfect and absolutely beautiful. A rush to finish a driveway to beat the rain wasn't quiet fast enough, so the crew stood, holding plastic over the portion not yet set. When TSH left, the drive was perfect and beautiful. Yep, anyone can hiccup, but the true professional knows how to make it right, leaving it perfect and beautiful! I subscribed during your first few videos and I've seen every project left perfect and beautiful. I'll not forget the words of a man who has a talent for reading people and a man who would not recomend anything not up to perfection. He said he was now ready for concrete so I'm gonna call the best in the business, the next day TSH was on site! Reputation proceeds a man or a company. TSH's rep has a very solid great one, which is obviously seen in the many videos I've seen. Just stating the obvious truth. Complements should be given when deserved. I didn't know what to expect on that first time video, but I found it to be very interesting, informative and fun and I've not missed a single video to this day! Can't thank you enough for sharing. Could you put a piece of rebar in the conduit that you lay under sidewalks/driveways? That would let them find the conduit with a metal detector. It would be in a different pattern than the rebar that is in the concrete and at a different depth. Would work really well when you use fiberglass rebar. (Not in the conduit, obviously). LOL

I sealed my exposed to early once and it got white fog under the sealer because it wasn’t dry enough it was very hard to get that off acid wash and seal again. Jim. Halifax N S

Your videoing has definitely gotten better since you started the channel. But i do think you need a camera person. I feel you may be missing content with having to fix the camera in one spot at a time. A camera person could be constantly moving around the entire project and capturing everything that's going on. (That's my humbled opinion since you asked) 👍🇺🇸💪

That is a surface retarder, so we can wash the top off and expose the aggregate
