One of the Early Budget games for the master System.I think it came with Transbot.
While a short game, its also a hard game so usaly takes many atempts to learn each level and find the secret scrolls.
All Green scrolls are found which unlocks the final level. I delibretly miss the entrance to show a few more levels. If you dont find the scrolls, the game loops to give you a chance of finding them.
There is some good music in this game but unfortunatly not captured as im pretty much in powered up mode all the way through so you dont get to hear all the tunes. -

This is the first game cartridge my Mum bought me for the Sega Master System, back then I did find this game really hard, not to mention having to throw stars at every enemy you encounter, but apart from that it is a good game to play even till this day, thank you for uploading this game 👍
I love your burgers, man, and your fries and shakes are great! I love the banana ones the most but it sucks they don't have them where I live...
Say hi to your brother for me. Is he still rocking that red hair and clown makeup? ;D
Dude we're in the same universe. My mom also bought me this as my first cartridge!
Same here man, my first rent ever. Came home with this and other 2 Sega games
I still have my sega master system.
I’m 39 now.
Built in Alex Kidd.
I love watching the games on CZcams but have a feeling I’d not enjoy the games how I did then.
One of The best christmas of my youth,my dad bought it that day i still have the memories of that day with that game..92 i thing..so nostalgic
We had this really rough family move into our close and I became friends with the two brothers. And I remember playing this at there home.
Brought back some wonderful memories of playing as a kid loved watching this video
Never seen the game beaten.. .thank you!
The manual tells you to get the green scrolls to enter the castle but never told how. The first one you can't miss because it's with one of the ninjas. Therefore I thought that all green scrolls would drop from a ninja. I would easily beat the game everyday and never finding them. I don't know about your language and country but I read since 4 years old. Proper alphabetization is done at school at the age of 5.
I remember this game being so difficult when I was a kid. Loved it though!
you need that super shuriken! it's so hard without it!
Same
Playing this as a kiddo was the peak of my childhood man.....
This was my favorite master system game as a kid!!! And the first game I ever beat! Watching this was pure nostalgia!!!
Oh how I loved this game , it only took me 25 years to see it beaten
Me and a friend spent an afternoon trying to get through this game when we were both 8 or 9.It was already quite an old game when we were playing it.Eventually we both got into a silly mood and somehow didn't care that we were dying over and over again. It's a strange gaming memory, but I fondly remember those days playing on the Master System
This game left an odd sensation on me and was very atmospheric. I was never able to beat it.
I always got up to the palace but never beat the game, thank you it took 30 years but I finally got to see the game beat thanks 😉.
Same for me 😉
Same here
I remember that when I was a child I only reached level 5 of this, soo difficult...
Its based on the original game they made called Ninja Princess look it up and I think you'd like it 👍
My first Video game, never found the last green scroll, now after 30 years i have peace 😂, thank you
Ready player two brought me here! The game looks better than what I visualized
just played it now, still one of my fav games of all time!
Plus I loved that the game give your a Ratio rating. Always went for the 100% once I got the hang of it. Damn you sweet longplay videos, tempting to crank out some oldies and also give it a try...
I loved that game. Thx for getting the music stuck in my brain.
Now i need to set up my old SMS...
And the music... intro of course and playing : ) childhood
I’ve spent a part of my childhood trying to understand how to finish the game ... I’ve never found all of the green scrolls and never got it to end the game ! Thanks
I used to play this in a "Plug n play" controller of 20 Sega games in 1
I got one from @tgames
I played in the master sytem evolution of Tectoy
@@dougpizza i played the master system evolution of Teddy. He's called Master Teddy evolved
Love this Game ! Very first video game I ever played ! Haven’t stopped playing games since !
I was only ever able to get to the third from the last level on this game but this game always left such an impression on me. Very atmospheric game. I loved it.
That was my childhood. Will never forget this great time ⌚
I remember this game quite well from my childhood, but I didn't know that it restarted because of some missing scrolls. That's so cheap!
Haha now I realise why I never beat this game. I never figured out the scroll 📜 just thought they were for extra points.
Exactly the same over here ! Got so frustrated at the time (plus I didn’t speak English back then)
All this reminds me of my tender youth. Hours of playing this game. Only good memories . Yes, I still play it from time to time on my tablet thanks to an emulator, and I still like it as much as I did at the very beginning. Even though I'm 45, it still fascinates me.
Back in the day when i used to sell games i could not shift this title from my shelves but actually it is not a bad game just a little difficult at first.(but so are most games i guess).
Joguei muito quando era criança, vão se passando as fases e o jogo fica cada vez mais apelão.
Wow I remember playing this to death when I was a kid, I don’t think I ever got that far on it but played it thousands of times! Good times! Smashing Master System games and only stopping to watch Red Dwarf on a Friday night! Gooooodddd tiiiimmmmmeessss!!!
If I recall pressing both buttons made you dissapear for a split second to let maybe one shuriken pass through you iff timed correctly.
But you have to get the blue scroll first. Also when you die you the red and blue scrolls and have to get them again.
Wow, well done to the person who played through this. The game was hard enough without having to attack every piece of scenery to find those scrolls.
One problem with this game is the fact that you fight the exact same boss at the end of every level, at least until the last couple of levels.
I finally called Sega to find out where that one fucking scroll was hidden.
i remember hangin out wit da guys back in like 99 or so. All in my cousins room, and he was playin this. Probably on a dreamcast rom. My first exposure to this. I was just a lad' of maybe 8 or 9 years
I always thought the small rock formations looked like dog turds.
Never even thought of that. I'll never look at this game in the same way again!
I remember playing it at my uncle in the early 90s, nice game.^^
Man, loved this game!
This was one of my favorite games for sega.
This is the SMS version of the MAME/Arcade "Ninja Princess". check it out on there for the src art
Well done you absolute NINJA!
I played this as a kid, got to the last step once, but didn't finish it. For me, the water level with the wood logs was the most difficult level, but when I see how you do it, it seems simple, just try to go up near to the level boss, and kill him. On the real hardware, you had a lot of sprite flickering (an issue that the SMS was known for), which made the levels with a lot of sprites in it more diffcult than on the emulators. The level with the horses was full of flickering for instance.
Finishing the level with 100% accuracy gives you an extra life. Makes the game somewhat easier.
Play and love it good memories and times
i played this game back in late 80s!! classic!
Cracking conversion of the Arcade Original. The Arcade Original version is called The Ninja Princess, and well worth tracking down.
hilarious music
My brother thinks the same to this day xD
This game remains an unbeatable challenge for me 30byears on and it still mocks me
Love these creative names: "The Ninja"
This game was hard as diamond! It was my nightmare when I was a child.
Look so easy when you play it oO
Probably because it's tool assisted. He's playing in slowmotion.
Aaah minha perfeita infância...♥️
One of Best games spent some hours in this!!!!!
I love it as kid thanks for Video
I used to like getting the Throwing star power-up, and running backward lining the enemies up in a vertical row and hitting them with 1 shot
Que recuerdos :') cuando era niño solo llegaba siempre en el step 2 xD ya no llegue hasta el 3 pero hoy en dia para todos es pan comido B)
Still one of the best OST, which I could import it when I play White Snow.
It took me 5 yrs to beat the game only because I couldn't find that last green scroll and it was on the stage I kept appearing on, I used that special gamepro magazine that came out in 1990 or 1991 to help me beat this game.
Underated game
I still have my master system
I don't think I remember that I had beaten this game but I remember to this day where the scrolls are
I played the heck out of this game as a kid.
I recall buying this game for my Master System for a tenner at Toys R Us in Northampton
So I got the MS2 and a couple years later getting games for it was tough as Mega Drive was about. Found a videos and games rental shop in Harrow Weald, London and they had all sorts of awesome MS games I'd never heard of including this. Also found Mortal Kombat there which was the most awesome thing in the world.
I only ever got to level 2 of this game as it was way too tough for my tiny little brain
I never understood how I played games like this as a child. Recently booted this up and got killed in the first second on the second stage and just shouted ‘bullshit’ at the TV in rage. Let me get a feel for the level before you throw shit at me!
Lord knows how I endured playing these games on a crappy d-pad and a 14 inch CRT TV.
wow! this game is beautiful and those sprites excellent. I only discovered this game today via Kim Justice's Mega System countdown. The music and sound effects are as annoying af though.
This is one of earliest memories of video games. Always got fucked on the last stage and couldn't get in because I was missing one of those green scrolls.
13mins?? took me like 4 years to finally beat this game...come to think of it i dont think i ever did
Amazing game, and amazing playthrough. I only able to beat it cheating using save states in emulator.
The main character (Kazamaru) has the same costume as Mitsurugi in Soul Blade/Edge (the first game in the Soulcalibur series).
Remember being so proud of myself when I beat this. It got ridiculously hard around the level on the river
This reminds me of a naruto online game where you wield shurikens and attack most bad guys with power ups and a boss also has a boshi.
Epic game. A lot better than most that have come out in the last 20 years.
Classic gaming is awesome. Gaming has gone too mainstream since these days.
I had this game and when I was a kid it was hard. Beat it once.
I did the 100% hit ratio in every stage. I was like ten or eleven years old.
Childhood Memories, this Game was not easy to play for a Kid 😄
reaching my 40 didn't make the game any easier. reached the end with save states yesterday and found out i needed all the scrolls 😄
You make it look so easy
lol at the dogs having the same chalk outline as the ninjas.
Wolves and they're ninjas too.
"Disclaimer: Most videos by World of Longplays use SaveStates!" - This should be put atop the description, so that we understand what we see.
Loved the intro song! Still do if I'm honest....
Go ninja onthem...Hahaaaaha great game!
Exactly!
Great game.
I never could get past the horses stage (way too hard for me).
But it doesn't matter because at this time i hadn't figured that you have to collect 3 hidden scrolls.
This is basically Rambo with different characters
Game hard af. Soundtrack is cool though
this game was SOOOO hard
1:14 você está jogando de boa e pega o pergaminho e de repente começa essa musiquinha engraçada kkkkkk
Couldn't find the last flipping green scroll so kept sending me back lol.
Only if your god!. It does take a few plays to learn where things appear so you would get a couple of hours at least out of your purchase ;)
more than that imho. even if you know everything a single wrong move and you're history.
Minha infância 😢
Ssiimmm
Meu primeiro vídeo game foi esse mano
Que Game Antigo Saudades Dessa Época
memories of rage quitting literally 2 mins into this game
Easiest bosses ever...
Essa pessoa joga demais slk
A short game, but so hard....
Ready Player two! this game changed the original hero from a woman to a man!
Was the location of the scrolls in the manual? I had this when I was about 9/10 and finished it but I can't for life remember how I knew where to find the hidden green scrolls.
It took me ages to work out the whirlwind move and it was easiest to kite backwards and do the forward shot. if you lined them up right and had the shuriken you could get 100% hit
I never did know that you could touch the boss though without him killing you
Ready Player Two brought here and I must say I prefer the original version.
Ready Player 2
Don't think i ever got passed the second level
Seems a C64 SEUCK game tried to remake this.
I almost forgot about the disappearing you almost bought the farm on level 8 end boss
I could sworn one time I just spammed random buttons on the menu and it started me off with a level with the ground of level 2 but no rocks and a bunch of dogs were coming at me.
That's fucking hilarious.
