For those who do not know, in the real video, these guys break the natural barrier of a lake that is on the side, killing dozens of animals that lived in the lake, just to create those artificial waves and they left the lake dry after that. it looks entertaining, but it's a tremendous lack of consciousness

Fun fact: that spot rn used to be just a shore line by the road but they dug a small line so water goes past through the line and after some time It turned into that because the sand kept getting softer and makes a way itself until making that huge river like water passage :)
If you're wondering how I know this, I saw the original clip like two years ago I think and I still remember it up until this day and idk why lol

Look up Waimea river wave Jamie O'Brien and you'll see some videos. This one is in California I believe and might be from beefs TV. When the rivers near the ocean get too full they dig a trench and let it begin to drain. As it widens it starts forming bumps in the sand that create this wave as it flows over. The wave will continually form and reform as the sand changes. Only lasts a certain amount of time.

Ita shallow. Only like a foot or two at the most. It gets deeper as the day goes on. And eventually the sand all washes out. That's water rushing down from the hills in Northern California. Theres a giant screen. And they clean it regularly. So when that things flowing good. Man it flows! But theres some concrete. So you'd definitely get scuffed up. Some road rash. But its all worth it. Its when you get dragged out to sea that could getcha killed..

I saw the video man and that's just not the case. It's a river going along side with ocean split by sand and these idiots mix the two. It happens to sometimes both mix but in rare natural conditions. I promise you, no doubt in this. These surfers do it in rural areas now in unwatched beaches over the world because it's illegal

When I was a child on the Canadian side of Lake Erie, we dug a trench from a pool like this and then it started to rain. We came back when the rain stopped, and it looked kinda like this. The current was very strong. I swam in from the lake towards the current, thinking it wasn't very strong. I ended up being caught in it and my uncle had to swim out and rescue me. The undertow can be really dangerous. Be careful if you come across something like this.
