1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 large egg
3/4 cup mashed banana
Cream Cheese:
1/2 cup cream cheese
2 tbsp powdered or icing sugar
1 large egg yolk
1 tbsp all-purpose flour

I made this 2 hours ago and it’s very delicious and moist. Although, I substitute the evaporated milk to coconut milk coz it’s non dairy and instead of 1-1/2 cup all purpose flour, I used 1 cup flour & 1/2 cup almond flour for less carbs and I used brown sugar. It turned out very good. Thanks for sharing your recipe! God bless!!!

can i use the regular sugar for the cream cheese layer? or it must have using the icing sugar? thankyou
Icing sugar is better so that the mixture will be smooth. If you add regular sugar it will be grainy. You can actually make your own powdered sugar or superfine (caster sugar). Use a blender and blend your regular sugar. I hope this helps.

for the cream cheese feeling, can I use granulated sugar instead of powdered sugar? what would be the measurement if granulated sugar?
I suggest to use powdered sugar para smooth. You can make your powdered sugar. Blend mo lang ang granulated sugar hanggang maging powder sya. I hope this helps :)

Paano po ngbrown ung ibabaw kung baba lng po apoy? Ganun kasi oven nmin..ayaw magbrown sa ibabaw pero luto na cia.

Can i replace evaporated milk with full cream milk?
less kasi ang water ng evaporated milk kaya mas malapot. Pwede naman siguro though the texture might change for a bit

the smaller the pan, the shorter the baking time is but I cannot give you an advice sa eksaktong time kasi di ko pa natry. What you can do is to make an estimate and check kung okay na. Oven temperature varies din kasi.

need yan para smooth sya. Blend mo lang ng ng matagal ang regular sugar hanggang maging powdery sya. Or pwede mo naman omit lang if you like pero mas masarap kung meron. Try mo rin condensed milk konti lang ang see what happens.

Overnight is fine sa room temp but I suggest to refrigerate after that and store sa airtight container. Pero isa lang naman loaf eh for sure ubos agad ito haha!

I am not sure. I suggest to try this one first and see with you next batch what happens. I'm afraid kasi na baka maging malabsa kung sobra.

Maybe u can separate the 1 tbsp flour below for the cream cheese. Tendency is that we may put it together with the 1 and 1/2 cup flour. Maybe u can list the ingredients in order, thanks.

Not as moist as I expected.. the cake was densed.. quite disappointing..
Many have tried it and not sure what happened. This is the same banana bread I use on all my recipes and been getting good reviews about it. I am sorry if yours didn't come out good.
I did it for 60 min and wasn't done inside 😑
