      it's perfectly playable with four violins and often performed by quartettes, so not "at least"...and the 2nd, 3rd and 4th violin are in the same rythm and in solo sections there's only one rythm note per 4th played (I think in the original it's 8ths) so let's just say this piece works especially well for fingerstyle guitar for many reasons. One of which is that he's an awesome player

      The guitar is much harder to play like this than most string, wind, or brass instruments. You are playing multiple parts on one instrument rather than having multiple people play their own lines of music, much like a piano. You must focus on dynamic, plucking technique, volume, and overall learning to play the guitar is not easy. This is much more of an accomplishment than you are making it out to be... The guitar is an individual symphony.

    I am a big fan of Emre's transcriptions, having purchased the Winter discount set and a few of his other collections. I can't recommend them more highly. Playing classical guitar has been my hobby for more than thirty years, and it's difficult to find new and interesting sheet music. Over the years, I wound up buying sheet music and transcribing it for guitar. It's a lot of work and often I wasn't satisfied with the result. The transcriptions Emre has chosen to do are exactly the one's I'm interested in and could never find!! How much better they are than anything I could have ever done! How much easier to just purchase these excellent transcriptions! They are quite a challenge, they sound beautiful. Emre, keep up the great work, you have many fans!!

    As an amateur guitar player myself, the amount of practice to even nail the first 10 seconds of this requires: True love for music, intelligence, the gift of having good motor skills, and an insurmountable amount of patience. The fine tremolo that he creates with his fingers to keep the harmony balanced, and the careful amount of pressure of the two and three strings that he is pulling, is an art in and of itself. Try it for yourself, and then thank the player for coming to earth to master the art of music, by the expression of himself, the original piece, and his guitar.

    Since I first listened to the arrangement of Vivaldi's concerto "Winter" brilliantly performed by Emre Sabuncuoğlu, I decided to purchase the guitar tablature of the 3 movements available on the LAGA website. I would say the transcriptions are accurate, some passages requiring advanced technique, fast plucking and tremolo skills in order to sound smoothly. My only remark is about the trills, in the first and second movement: the tablature should indicate the 2 notes played in the trill, at least this is how I find it indicated in other guitar tabs. Besides this, I am very happy with the purchase. Thank you

    • @LAGuitarAcademy
      @LAGuitarAcademy  Před 6 lety +11

      Thank you for your purchase and kind words about our releases. In standard classical sheet music, the notes that form a trill are typically not explicitly notated since they can easily be deduced from the underlying key. For example, if the key is in D minor, and there is a trill placed on a G, you would perform the trill between G and the upper neighbor note, A. If the trill is on an A, you would play the trill between A and B-flat (just keep an eye on the key signature). That said, we'll add a note on the score in case it helps other players who may not be familiar with the concept.
