    I’m moving to Texas from the northeast at the end of the year. As someone who’s used to chasing striped bass your videos have been very helpful for me in assessing the fishing scene down there. This video especially!

    Gurgler flies of all styles as well as smaller baitfish patterns are effective as well.

    Coming to the Texas coast from the Austin area on the Nov. 12 weekend for my first kayak fishing trip. I will be closest to Mustang Island area. Any suggestions for locations to try. I like shallow. Thanks for any help. P.S. Great Vid.

      I don’t think so, but you can probably find their flies at gordys or Bayou City

      I’ll be honest, I’ve never thrown a clouser in Texas. I know guys that do and have some luck with them.

      @@TheSkiffWanderer ... Thank you for this video. I've been casting a fly rod for 8+ years and never caught anything worth bragging about but that's not the rod or the lures fault. LOL I'm a fan of Clouser, Deceiver and Seaducer.
