Since Wheeler asked us, the comments, to sass him,he could have proliferated the -1/-1 on Nelson's Devoted Druid to kill it in game 3 at 37:50
was screamin that as soon as the devoted druid got that counter lol was praying he saw the line then was so bummed when he goblined
also on that same turn he had used all his mana, since he didn't take back the domri actiavtion, he would need 3 for the legion warboss, 1 for fyndhorn and 1 for cankerbloom , totalling the 5 mana he had tapped before untapping the noble hierarch.

At 36:45 my second favorite Ben forgets that he can proliferate the -1/-1 counter on the devoted druid. Time to floss with some barbed wire! (Also praise the algorithm)
yeah had to quickly go to the comments, after I saw that (neat) line. Obviously easily missable since you rarely proliferate in the first place in canlander, and much more rarely on enemy stuff, but always good to keep your eyes open for this kind of stuff.
It’s also fun to think that “good guy Nelson” realized it but he really wanted that extra mana for tooth and nail
I was very sad to see Elves of Deep Shadow instead of Delighted Halfling in game 2 and then Priest of Titania hit the board and I slapped my forehead so hard. Canlander is a crazy format and I love it.

Wheeler's sleeves are always great. I know he said where he gets them but I forget. Does anybody remember or know where he gets them?
They're just Dragon Shield art sleeves. These sleeves in particular are The Great Wave and can be picked up in a variety of places

Magnificent show. Control v control? Combo v combo? Omnitell??? Craterhoof is a really amazing deck but its had a lot of time on this show.
Great vid as always but I have a rules discussion. I'm pretty sure, trespasser token that where made by fable aren't flipping. Because the token created by fable is a Single sided permanent. I know that there was a rule change with MoM, but that only count's for double sided permanents, if I understood it correctly.
It's an unusual set of circumstances. You would have to activate Reflection on the opponent's end step to make the token copy so it would persist into the next turn. Then it would need to flip from day to night on the controller's turn, but yes clone tokens of double sided permanents, such as Graveyard Trespasser, do work that way now.
@@markbrierley6367 I'm playing a lot of pioneer and had this interaction quite often, so I'm a little shocked that I did it wrong even on rcq and an rc. Good to know it now!

I hate shuffling skyscrapers (100 card decks), and I prefer to spend very little money on magic cards.
But watching the highlander games in this series is awesome and always makes me want to generate a list of random cards through a draft site and build a 60 card singleton deck from the sealed pool ^^
