Brilliant car nearly four years of ownership and spent next to nothing , I used to think the same as you guys it’s just scaremongering…as long as it’s serviced with genuine parts and when you purchase one it has a full service history from Bmw or a specialist it will be fine , I recommend only as a weekend toy not a daily user and always warm the engine and gearbox to temperature for 15 mins or so before it’s taken over 3k revs. 👌🇬🇧 PS; I’m at 90,000 miles on the original rod bearings with oil analysis checks which shows hardly any wear and tear this is due to driver care and maintenance
@@groupb5420 yeah people blow the issues with this and the e9x m3 out of proportion. I own an e93 m3 currently and hope to get an e60 m5 in the future. The m3 has given me zero issues so far. Has 77,000 miles on it. Amazing car to drive and can’t wait to get an e60 and hear that v10 🤤
@@josephhooks1292 ..there great cars the only problem is the sound is so addictive that you can’t stop driving the car , I took it for a blast yesterday as it was a nice day with dry roads and found a few tunnels. 😎👍 A friend of mine sold his E92 M3 and purchased an M4 which is a great fast car but he’s regretting selling the car now and thinking of buying another one as the new M series cars are not the same regarding noise and the drive ( his words ) , this is the reason why I kept mine after driving the F10 M5 … it’s a great car and really quick and the gearbox is sublime but there’s no soul it’s like all the other modern cars just quicker.
