- Hey everyone! I hope you enjoy watching what my morning circle at preschool looked like! This was several years ago so, COVID was not complicating every aspect of everyone life. I hope you can get some ideas to help in your own classroom! I have answered a few questions below!

All kiddos are full of sensory needs at this age! Using the super spray can be a fun and inviting strategy to not only praise positive behaviour, but to also allow their oral motor movements to awaken, and bring their whole bodies in touch with their senses! Pf course consult with your classroom parents and explain the benefits of giving them this simple yet fun reward! I have used simple things such as flavoured water, watered-down lemonade, etc. I would somedays even just put freshwater and have them do a SUPER SWIRL in a mist of water above their heads. This may be more COVID regulation friendly!

I love this video. I hope it never goes away! I use it to teach my Early Childhood Education students about Circle time and all of the things that can be taught through it. You do such a wonderful job!

This was a very nostalgic video. I remember being in kindergarten in the early 2000’s as well as helping out volunteering in a kindergarten class just last year and making a life long brother bond with one of the kids in the class i helped out in. This video brings back so many memories from my past and from recently helping in the class.
Love seeing the teacher interact with the neurodiverse student so naturally. The assistant wasn't only focused on one child but was truly supporting in the classroom watching and signaling other students.

wife worked daycare 15 years. rewarding job. only reason she left was heart condition, but yes tough job. like being a nurse , my mom was for 25 years labor & delivery. it takes a special person , caring, loving compassion to be a teacher. hats off to all of you.

I love this video. I found this video as research for a college report. I find this video inspiring and really made me want to be a teacher. I love how you refer to everyone as 'friends' instead of saying 'guys and galls' or some slang. It makes it a warm environment. All the children seem constantly entertained and involved as well as having fun. So inspiring
most schools require you call them friends.

Morning circles or as we call them morning hello is what makes kids want to come to school in the mornings especially. It is a great motivation piece.
I'm 20 years old now and wanted to get nostalgic and now its so cool to see this whole thing from an adult's perspective! those songs were so lit, no one in my class looked that young to me, I had no idea my teacher was being so patient with my class when she had to be and i just wanna say thank you to all the good teachers out there who become parents of so many kids for 180 days a year

I love the super spray idea I used that many years ago. I would use a verity of different health juices such as apple, orange, and grape juice. I often used water for hot days outside in the sun. Sometimes I wondered if the students even cared what was in the spray bottle. I think they just liked the idea of being sprayed in the mouth.

Mellona Henry What’s the reason for spraying the children’s mouth? Is this really necessary? Kind of weird to be spraying the children’s mouth! I would rather use a different approach then spraying their mouth.

I love this circle time. It gives me hope for awesome teachers in the future. My son's preschool circle time takes place in an area 1/4 this size and they only play and sing the exact same 4 songs each day...and they wonder why they can't sit still or stay engaged. It's so repetitive and my son says he's bored.
I've took Early Childhood Education Diploma Online College Classes & I passed them. I also help out with my Church's Preschool Ministry & I love it! When I finish College Next Year, I'm planning on becoming an Elementary School Assistant Preschool Teacher, because, I love working with Preschool Children.

“I am not your neighbor!” I didn’t like that. Give the children a high and encourage them to fine their neighbors. Give a high you do not loose anything! Lack of belonging and well-being.

Hello! I would like to send my extreme apologies for only getting back to all your comments! The super spray can literally be anything your parents/supervisors are okay with you having. I have had various flavors of juice or crystal light for example. I also had a mini fridge in my room so I was able to store it in there. Of course cleaning it out frequently! This was just such a fun and fast way of rewarding my students often! I was very quick and frank about giving them out and found this to be very effective!

Wow. This is my very first time watching something this, and I absolutely love it. I can't believe I saw the ABC song finally! My daughter sung that song for her kindergarten graduation song. And everybody loved it. So many of us was laughing so hard buy just the way the key the kids were singing the song. Love the video, plan on watching many more. Thank you so much for posting.
