Take away the Toni Kroos factor there’s just nothing about the 11pro2 that screamed “coolness”. Do agree they’re comfortable and I do prefer these over what adidas been making but look back in 2014,these doesn’t even come close to what the tiempo legend 5 have.
Great video and review as always, I was kind of meh when the originals came out and this video does a great job of summing up my feelings

Think you more or less nailed the reasons quite well especially when I was wearing when they were an in-line model and why I didn’t bought them. Did wear them in college but was nothing more than an afterthought pair that I would only wear on the odd occasion. While I do love the original 11pro2 and still own an original one in this exact colorway except with its original soleplate. The boots are comfortable but was incredibly plain Jane and just something that doesn’t scream something special. When you compare it’s competition at the time,I say the Nike tiempo legend 5 at the time absolutely blows these out of the water be it the remake or original. The final adipure 11pro model,the 11pro 3 that also beats the 11pro2. I’m a huge fan of Toni and he’s my favorite player but takeaway that factor,I don’t think these boots would reach the cult status that they had if he wasn’t wearing them since 2014.

Hi, which football would you recommend, select brillant super TB, al rihla pro, mitre match balls etc..? You seem to use select match ball, do they perform? Maybe a video on them would be great.

I tried the copa pure 2s in store and US 9.5 were solid but a bit too tight width wise- do you think these stretch a bit better?
Yep, definitely!
I’m surprised the durability rating was so high, I’ve seen quite a few people say the upper started splitting from the sole plate after just a few sessions which is pretty awful from such an expensive and limited boot

aye man I just got a pair of nike premier 3's off of the nike app but i got a 9.5 and they were very tight on me and im 14 so my foot is still growing, and i am going to return them but should I get a size 10 or 10.5 for later reference.
Probably a 10, the Premiers will stretch
You think lockdown is an issue across the board with Adidas lately? I have the copa pure 2.1 (Elite) and even with the new heel it still slips and I’m like how have yall not figured this out yet 😵💫
Had an issue with the lockdown of the copa pure 1s as well, although I put that down to me having got the laceless plus model. I have the crazyfast.1 now and have no lockdown issues.
I don't think it's EVERY Adidas boot, but several of them have strange heel areas for sure

I liked these but I also have the Tiempo Legend 9 Elites and I will wear the Legend 9 Elites(in an actual tournament) over these any day.
I m still upset that the customised Kroos models were only available in his size tbh. 😢
The Tiempo is absolutely a better football boot!
Both the remakes (TK edition and yours) are calf leather. Neither are kangaroo. Only Kroos gets kangaroo.

Hmm... I'll have to recheck - I do believe the TK ones are K-Leather per the limited quantity would suggest.
