This is so underrated! When I first saw Guoba cutscene I was like: Is Guoba gonna be Zhongli's successor???
Then as I finished the Guoba event, I concluded that both are "retired" with Zhongli giving up his Gnosis and Guoba losing his wit after offering a lot of his power to save people. But both are still present in Liyue without people knowing and this theme basically describes their current situations now. One lives and works as a mortal, the other helps a talented chef and her adventures. Two allies, one can remember it all and the other recalls bits and pieces. Both heroes of Liyue. This is an amazing mash up! A masterpiece!
