- Survivors of the Manchester Arena attack, along with families of some of the twenty two killed - have urged the public to honour those lost and be part of the solution to terror.

In an open letter almost one year after the attack they've urged people to take on hatred wherever they find it, as well as arguing that the focus of media and social media should be victims and survivors not perpetrators - who often seek publicity. Today some of those injured in the attack took part in the Great Manchester Run.
Can't believe it's been a year. Time really does fly. So sad that these little girls died, it was sickening. RIP and god bless to all of them.

It’s officially a year a go today that 22 innocent people lost their lives due to a suicde bomer another 800 were injured. I just want to state what our world is becoming in the Uk we’ve got the bomings ,stabbings and Grenfell tower which is just heart breaking . Our world is being over taken but hatred suicide , stabbing , bomings and fires
When these happen we pull together an d we need to do this now more than ever
Plz make this world safe and happy again
