This was a fantastic segment all around! Mariah style is what the division needs and the whole fact that this was live in the ring is what made feel the whole presentation more important.
IMO at least most of the promos should be live in the ring instead of backstage, this elevates everyone involved. Great way to debut Deonna by the way.
Thunder Rosa is back, Serena Deeb is coming back, Deonna Purazzo is all elite, Mercedes Mone with a question mark. Women’s division is getting adrenaline injection, lightning strike and a digivolution all at once

@@goodfella1401 😅Yeah, I doubt there are very many people Mariah May didn't win over while in Stardom. The idea of her being the powerhouse for Club Venus might have seemed ridiculous at first, but she leaned into it hard, and it worked.

@@goodfella1401 Why is that a bad thing to hone her craft in Japan which is a country with long historical traditions in wrestling. If this girl is anywhere close to being as good as Toni Storm then that's fantastic for AEW BC this girl looks actually good in the ring for a change on her debut match. She already has a solid base that most girls in wrestling don't have currently especially some on the roster. Mariah May is basically their version of Tiffany Stratton.
Hope AEW has a great 2024. And that women's division finally gets up to the higher level it needs. Talent is there
The talent was always there but talent needs to be developed, ready (to carry a championship) and most importantly healthy and available. The division looks a lot worse when you can't use Stat, Shida, Riho, Hayter, Velvet, Ford, Tay, Ruby, Rosa, Yuka, Abadon, Deeb, Bunny before she left and Hirsch for several months or even longer which literally was the case at times in 2023 when that many women or more were not available

This is an appreciation post. Best dynamite in a long time. This is what we want. A mix of story lines, entertainment segments and breath taking matches. Please continue this stuff. May be add another women’s match. I felt the continental championship contender match should had a back story behind. May be Eddie could have cut a promo for a challenger to interrupt him and there begins the storyline. Anyways I loved this dynamite episode. The episode felt like 2021 peak aew.

This was one of the best dynamites in a very long time. The stage set looks really professional compared to the nursery looking one before ( still miss the tunnels a little), also the tron is back with live camera view, the announce table back where it belongs, and the great promos and set of matches. Hopefully AEW will become more serious
Deonna is a Jersey girl through and through, and that showed in this segment. As a fellow New Jerseyan, I'm glad she's All Elite, and even more glad that she not only got a New Jersey chant over, but showed her roots in making sure to let everyone know that you don't come here to talk shit on us.
And she was wearing boots, not heels--you KNEW she was ready to go.
So happy for Deonna, i hope a good run for her in AEW like she did in IMPACT
Love me some Queen Aminata, she actually played a decent Babyface in this match, even tho personally I think she's a better heel. Deonna is a nice addition to the roster, she's so good.
