Yeah...not easier. Actually, for me, it was worse than the first time...Jimin's hug and Namjoon's tears really got me.
Also the fact the both members who are the solid emotional support of their dynamic just makes this worse

There so many things to be sad about with this but look of pure joy on our babies faces that even the masks couldn’t conceal when they saw their Jin in all his military glory is just so heartwarming.
I have read that Jin could not be filmed because he was in uniform but the picture that was taken was okayed by his superiors.
They're prepared for Jins enlistment for years, but for JHope,......they knew it but it's still so sudden. I teared up seeing Namjoon and Yoongi being silent. Raplines emotional.

i thought i had reacted when i saw hobis weverse live and the photo he uploaded but then i saw this video and i CRIED. i understand you landon. this really hurt for some reason. and the way their eyes lit up at seeing jin. oh boy. emotions. if the elder can get leave days to see the younger's entrance ceremonies, then we will get bangtan bombs with fewer and fewer people in frame as they are already enlisted...

Thanks for showing this departure. It is a tear jerker for me😢😢😢😢and all Armys around the world. Touched by Jhope extending his arms to RM is my crying hard moment. RM the leader so emotional melts my heart. Jhope will be missed. But Jin is there to help him. Thanks to the military officers for letting this moment take place. BTS will always be 7.

Me too, you know the bond between all them, it really makes my heart aching. First it was Jin, now Jhope. Even they taking it calmly but deep in their hearts they are so sad, looked at RM, JK and Jimin. Oh how i wished all of them finish they solemn promise to they country, so that they will be able to see each other again 2025. Love them so much.

4:00 jimin's jungkook hug was i think because jungkook just got back from the us (changed his schedule to be able to send off hobi) and jimin is seeing jungkook for the first time since he's back in korea i guess. that hobi hug from jimin still makes me want to cry a little.

Yeah same, Landon-this hit so hard...not sure any of us can do this 5 more times?!? How? 😢 I guess the one good thing to come from it, however, is the fact that Jin has thrived, looks so good, and I do feel it has to give the others a glimmer of hope that they can all get through this, and well. It's the "missing" them that will be the worst, and as much as I hate to see them go, I do hope the rest go sooner than later, so that it won't extend too far into 2025 for ALL to return. June & October 2024 can't come fast enough for Jin & Hobi to come back. Assume Suga & RM are next, but maybe Jimin will go fairly soon too-no clue about JK & V though?

The anticipation of Hobi going to the military service since his announcement is really killing me.. I've been tracking live video of Jimin hoping to see Hobi there because I know he'll be there for Jimin.
I couldn't go to sleep knowing the next day is finally the day I dread..been watching the live from news agency for five hours before all their service cars came.. it's just so frustrating I can't see any of them..I only knew it was V when the soldier on duty with microphone attached to a loud speaker was overheard confirming V's name through the radio..Right after the blockage has been removed I searched for any videos of their farewell, Thanks to the tweeter post showing two pics of them together..COMPLETE AGAIN💜!
But it wasn't enough for my heart in pain..
Then this video came up hours after..sad to see Yoongi keeping his cool but obviously heartbroken.. Jk's back hug..V's comforting touch..RM's controlled tears..and most painful to see...Mochi's tight embrace and fond peck on Hobi's neck which has become a habit.. somehow, the pain lessened as Jin came to meet his brothers.
This happened while my daughter is taking her Midterm exam..and Hobi is her bias😢💜💜💜my poor baby

it really broke me, its just feeling more and more real. Im frustrated about this situation and i probably will always be, they just mean so much to me.
You said it exactly - that so much of the prime time of their lives is being ripped away from them. It's not just the military service. It's the way Covid slammed them down, took away concerts, performing just when they were ready to share the album they were so proud of: Map of the Soul. And then....all 7 having to leave gradually - the career they love, the people ARMY that support them and vice versa, concerts, even dance practices. All gone and it feels like it's a back to back situation. Then you pile on all the extreme negativity slung at them. Now they are being separated from each other. We will be there but there is no guarantee that they can still capture the magic that resulted in thousands at every concert. Interrupting careers at their peaks when others are salivating to take their place...... Plus military does have an effect. It all depends on what else is gong on in the world - North Korea sits right there and they have never played nice. My biggest prayer is that there is no war. But that's always something you don't want to happen to anyone. What a shame that those who could have modified the length of service based on the millions that BTS has generated for the government including staggering statistics about how many people choose to come to Korea because of them and thus generate even more millions for the government - THAT is also a government service yet the oldsters in their suits who had to do military service were determined that there would be no escape - they all have to serve 18 months to two years. A Korean poster indicated that Yoongi will have to do the entire 2 years due to not being able to serve the infantry. He'll have something resembling an office job but again, will now have to do that extra 6 months all due to his shoulder injury and the surgery. UGH.... I hate all of this. We're suffering too although there really is no comparison....compare, I do. Because I blame the treatment to BTS for giving us paradise and now it's being taken away and it feels like that death by a thousand cuts thing. It hurts. It sucks. Some of us don't have that much time left, ya know? I'm a geezer....every week, month, year counts.

Some SK network had a live feed for a few hours on Monday night. They didn't show Hobi but the weather was gray and gross and rainy the whole time. It was definitely a sign. I was FINE too until that Jimin hug! 😭 (also HOW did Hobi get even BETTER looking after he got his hair cut?!)

What you said about being angry and frustrated and just not understanding why... That happened to me with Jin. I was so prepared. I was like I'm almost 40-yr woman.. I will not break down over this. Oh did that back fire. And with hobi.. I was really upset and sad.. Coz I decided not to pretend.. But then I watched this and they even show Jin and I was so furious. I knew logically it must be some military rule... But that didn't stop my feelings...
They ALL are in a very difficult position as there would be immense political pressure for them to look happy and accepting of their enlistment even if they don’t want to go... they can't even say they don't want to go but logically none would want to interrupt their career with military service at this point in their global rise.
It is also well know that idols face abuse in the military not only from enlistees but also by officials, many idols do not return after Military service, it isn't a break, it is dam hard work and would be mentally exhausting.
BTS should have been given an exemption, they served and contuine to serve there country as global ambassadors, further the 5 Billion income that they bring in to the Sth Korean economy goes a long way to ensure a well financed and thus armed military. I have no respect for the Sth Korean Government or populace, they are very short sighted on the bigger global picture, I very much view Sth Korea in a very negative light, being fundamentally as are most Westerners against mandatory military service.
This! A thousand times this. I've been seeing so many people, mostly either S. Korean or American, pushing the same tired ideas: that the members are happy to go, military service is unquestionably good & good for the country, military service builds good character in young men, BTS will benefit from the military/the military will benefit from BTS, etc. We're supposed to support BTS by pretending their forced enlistment is a positive thing, muffling any objections in the name of patriotism & social harmony.
The thing is, I owe no obligation to the South Korean government or to Confucianist Korean society. The members are in an untenable position, with so much to lose - I have no right to tell them what to do or how to act. However, I do have the right to speak out about the lies of patriotism & nationalism. I have a moral obligation to say that any kind of forced labour is unethical & wrong; mandatory military duty is particularly egregious & should be condemned. Any system of conscription that makes so little allowance for principled objection should be anathema to any human with a conscience.
It's well-documented that right-wing nationalist governments use militarism & jingoism to prop up their own authority. The S. Korean president (who won with ~1% margin), is blatantly manipulating the public and dangling BTS' service as the red meat - I choose not to go along with it.
Military service is mandatory. It is the law. If you don't do military service you go to jail. . You should learn Korea history because the Korea war never end. All Korea males service in the military.
Bts never wanted exemption. Bts members have always said they will service. Because they know their duties to their country. And as a foreign who are you to commit. This us not your country. They could be attacked at any time.

Moreover, the demand that everyone conform to your version of isolationism is silly. Do South Koreans not have opinions about Japan's trade policy or its foreign affairs? Nothing to say about China's environmental policy? How about the DPRK - any thoughts on their domestic policies & practices?
The world is interconnected & multicultural. It's what made the existence of Korean Idol music possible, because the music, dancing, rapping, training system & fashion - all of it - have elements borrowed & adapted from other countries & cultures; primarily Black American. It also means that we have the UN, the ICC and all sorts of trade agreements & treaties that bind us together, whether you like it or not.

It is hard to see them leave but for me it is even more sad when you know that Jin will be all alone for 4 months before Hobi finishes his service. 😢

Just to let you know there is now a video with the English captions. As captions are done by the lovely ARMY it seems to come out the next day. I did see one group picture with Jin. It guess they had to get authorization. As for them leaving, I try to stay positive. I see JIn and J-Hope going in as things are finally moving towards an end of all this. For so long BTS and ARMY were held captive of this whisper of an exemption but it was not to be. Like COVID's isolation, time will pass and the members will be together again. I can hardly wait.
