GT7 in PSVR2 is a true masterpiece. I feel like it should be able to be nominated for Game of the Year even though it was available flat last year. It's a completely different experience in VR

I’ve been gaming for 42 years on all different platforms. GT7 on PSVR2 and a Wheel is by FAR the most incredible gaming experience I’ve ever had. It makes me feel like a kid again.

@@DK-gw2pg try it in easy mode, and with another Person in the room, this makes it way less scary, you still get the full experience. Its more like a action movie with a bit of horror, the know the cant make it too scary, people wouldnt play it, its well balanced imo

With a "Playseat", a true force feedback wheel with pedals and the VR2 its literally amazing. I'm not a fan of any of the other apps on it so far, but the Grand Turismo is the killer app. It would be great if they built a true driving simulator in it to learn the rules of the road........
As for the PlayStation phone cover case that basically has a controllers stashed within it I thought they can make the design in a similar to some of the other control is where it expands but I could expand in both ways so like horizontally and vertically that way you only have to make one designed I can basically fit any smart phone and it kind of clamps onto it once you set in place you know that we are protect your phone but you’re also able to conveniently bring a game controller with you to use on your phone which I hope is the PlayStation phone in the near future
I think the product is an amazing idea in fact as a standalone product without the PlayStation phone I still think it would do relatively well the problem is it needs to be done by a company as amazing as yours or Microsoft even though I shouldn’t be saying that hearing your channel I feel like those are the only true companies like a really do it well honestly between me and you I think PlayStation does make the better controllers at least when it comes to fighting game Finatticz like myself lol

It's objectively the best GT if you play only for the visuals, sound and driving. However, content wise it is sorely lacking.
@@vvoof2601It's not sorely lacking, I still found more content to do than in let's say GT Sport or GT psp, GT5 prologue and stuff... Let's not forget the 440+ cars and multiple game modes and challenges.

It really is a great experience, everyone needs to try with a force feedback wheel and pedal set up.
I need to get that. But I would add a Haptic vest like the Woojer Vest 3 that also has a headphone amp built in. The sound and the vibration I get in the cockpit and even when going in the VR showroom has to be experienced and no words can properly paint the picture.

If Sony focuses more on hybrid VR games (where they get console screen games into VR) for PSVR 2, this generation will be something else. Some of my dream hybrid games are the Killzone and Resistance Trilogy, would be insane if they're able to remake em for PSVR 2 and PS5. Those games would fit perfectly for VR. I need these to happen immediately

I was playing this game on VR2 yesterday, and it seems to have more clear quality than the last time I played a few weeks ago.

@@kraenk12 false. Back in April they released an update for game performance mode forcing 120hz. Polyphony digital is also constantly tweaking the visuals and adding new assets to tracks.
@Nick Worrell the 120hz update was for tv only, not VR. Made no difference to vr, it was always running at 120 reprojected from 60 lol they have made tiny tweaks to visuals I think but it has nothing to do with the hz

I was learning to drive with GT3 and there was no VR then but yeah all GT are great simulator that can really really teach you driving skill

@@fionnmaccuill415 as soon as it got bad, turn it off and take a break. Play for a minute and turn it off and do it regularly, the main thing is not to bring it to severe nausea, then after a while the body adapts. Or maybe not =)
I can't remember last time I had so much fun in a video game than with GT7 in VR. Driving a tuned up 911 Porsche on the Nordschleife track with a wheel is one of the most fun and intense experiences I had in gaming.
@@fionnmaccuill415I've had 30+ people try psvr2 with a fanatec rig and no one has actually had motion sickness. 7 of those people had sworn they would get sick, ultimately they didn't at all. Do you follow all set up settings and recalibrate every time you put the headset back on?

They'll be hitting the stores very soon, this month I think. Well worth the money IMO. Still, wait for the sony games expo thingie that'll happen in not too many weeks. I'm sure they'll show off some of what's coming for PSVR2 in the future.
