The managers in my apartment building certainly have many characteristics of narcissists, if they are not diagnosed narcissists themselves. They try to maintain control, they believe that their viewpoint is the only truth, and they gaslight.
I have been asking the other residents how they see the management and all of the responses I have gotten are negative.
I'm sorry you have that experience in your building. I hope you and the other residents are able to find some kind of solution.

My state has a housing rights agency and I have contacted the lawyer there.

I don't believe in "healthy narcissism." Having good self-esteem isn't healthy narcissism; it's healthy.
