    As I'm sure you know, Kawasaki has greatly improved the new 2024 model. I'm seriously considering purchasing one. I value your opinion!

    That looks fantastic. I need to open up trails in an untouched forest and maybe drag some logs around, this looks like a perfect bushwhacking SxS.

    That engine is used in a lot of other UTVs. It's a relatively common engine in South America, Africa and of course Asia. There's an 1100cc version used in other UTVs, too.

    All the mules I've seen have a storage bin under the front seat. I do agree however that the front seat should be on a hinge rather than cables.

    Thanks for the review. Looks like these fetch a much lower price on the used market than the Honda Pioneer 1000. If you were going to load up a family of 5 and hit the trails in Colorado and Utah, which would you pick?

      Most engines in ANY UTV or Tractor for that matter is made by a different manufacturer. This has been common for decades now. Even 1970's John Deeres were Made in Germany and they are still running today.

      I would say its about 50/50. The Kawasaki Teryx is a Kawasaki 750. I believe every single model Honda or Yamaha make uses one of their own motors (and they also make great motors).

    Quick question. Local Law Enforcement buggy headlights and aux power are out on Kawasaki Pro FXT. I can't find a good diagram to try to help them fix it. They have a low budget and covid closed their maintenance down. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

  • @TheLuke1184
    @TheLuke1184 Před 3 lety

    This is a great review...you said, "it has front locking diff and unlocking rear" but is that correct? Does the Mule have the option for both front and rear differential locking?
    Thanks, seriously considering a purchase.

    • @RPG-oh1yf
      @RPG-oh1yf Před 3 lety

      I own one and I'm 99% sure the differential lock is only for the rear axle, most mass produced vehicles never have a factory front diff lock since if left locked it would make it a huge road hazard since it drastically affects steering and handling on pavement of the vehicle, unlike a locked rear end which is bad for the tires but doesn't affect handling that much.

    • @ModernSurvivalists
      @ModernSurvivalists Před 3 lety

      @@RPG-oh1yf Many SxS have a full locking front diff. Both of my Yamaha's have it. It does make turning nearly impossible when engaged, but its only meant to be used in extreme low traction situations. I am not familiar enough with Mule to know if it also has a front locker.

    • @RPG-oh1yf
      @RPG-oh1yf Před 3 lety

      99% of people who buy them use them on farms and ranches, not for road legal use. It's likely just a cost analysis from the manufacturer, manufacturers do this all the time.

      @@shawnhanniman8597 nice to hear he had a good experience. Current price for these machines in the states is over $16k. For the same price you can buy a Hyundai Accent. It has power windows, power locks, doors, Apple car play, AC, air bags, 130hp, windows, 6 speed manual, 100k mile warranty, etc. I guess what I am saying is; for that kind of dough I am expecting a bit more than a sub $1k engine mated to a snowmobile clutch. Not judging anybody who is happy with theirs, I just feel like if we don’t demand more as consumers the industry will continue to increase price and decrease quality. I know they can’t fix inflation, but there are ways to provide quality at lower prices.
