There is nothing wrong with sounding intelligent, M&M. And there is nothing wrong with someone taking over conversations if you have something smart to say. Kate seems very nice, but not well prepared in some of her speeches. You know this. Just because someone else sounds like they are, does not mean we have to put them down. Kates been on the job much longer than others, and her position requires her to be ready to come out confident and knowledgeable.

Such a nice lady. I’m Australian and really stopped following the life of the royals after princess Diana died. Followed Megan a bit all these years later as she was hipped up by the media at the beginning as a Hollywood actress, and what a blunder that turned out to be.
Watching late she seemed a little awkward when introduced as your royal highness, almost like almost an introduction of Kate would be fine.
Kate has worked hard for the acceptance of the public and been extremely humble, you look at her and go, thats a good woman!!!

Sweet , elegant and simple woman
As a 38 y.o. jobless, single, loser male with many mental and physical issues, i must say i always found William shy, cute and down to earth and that i always thought( and hoped) he was gonna find his twin or how to say soul. Because she too appears so nice. My creepling social anxiety disorder always attracted some sorts of toxic people, bullies,.. But i am proud to say i always had an eye for real people and Kate is one of those i feel like i am from the toxic group. Sorry, not the best english skills but i hope those who read my comment got my point. I feel overwhelmed with guilt only in front of minority of people and she seems to be one of them. ( Others are people out of spotlight i met in life). I am so happy for William.

I can place Kate's accent. It's a middle class surbuban west London accent, not as posh as say Notting Hill or Chelsea more working class Fulham. I would say the same mould as Emma Watson. I don't think the royal family has changed her basic speech, I think she is more careful how to say words. It reveals to me that she is disciplined and aware of her position and status.
