  • This video will go over mathematics in the Ancient Period! We will focus on Mesopotamia and Egypt, specifically the Old Babylonian Period and Middle Kingdom of Egypt, as we check out the sexagesimal system and mathematical tablets and papyrus of these cultures.

    ANCIENT: For us, the Ancient period means the Copper and Bronze Age timeline, so around 5000 BCE to 1100 BCE. It is between the Prehistoric (more specifically Neolithic), and the Classical Age, and covers Ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, Bronze Age Europe, the Minoans and Mycenaeans, the Indus Valley Civilization and early Vedic, the Shang and Western Zhou, the Archaic and Pre-Ceramic Americas, and much MORE!
    SCIENCE: This theme deals with the different scientific innovations of different societies. Videos will deal with cool inventions and technologies, construction methods, mathematics, medicine, etc.

    Good content. But honestly, the AI voice is irritating. A live human voice would be MUCH better. :-)
