Taking on a gigantic vampire counts horde is definitely up there. They cant even annoy you with their own artillery, plus sometimes you get to kill them like 4 different times.
Wyverns are actually really tough which im quite happy to see. Really makes them stand apart from their Dragon cousins, no breath attacks but more ferocity and strength in battle.
LOTW, want to let you know that as a result of watching your videos, my gameplay has improved a lot. I don’t corner camp anymore and as a result, I win most battles and enjoy the game! In sharing the tactics that you use, my Total War library has renewed life and replay ability. Thank you!

Often wonder how people struggle so with some, but the submitter helped me understand. He had decided he'd gotten a good melee fighter therefore he should be able to beat another melee fighter. Instead of- what will annihilate the melee fighter most efficiently? Can doesn't mean should. I guess it makes sense people like to form one strategy their army is strong in and use that, regardless of the opposition. I think they'd lose their hair if they saw those times i took off the walls and melee charged bow ashigaru into bow samurai units.
Given how much I love the various Boar Boyz, seeing you roast & fillet them this badly made me wince & cringe a bit Also, very proud of Creeping Death still being alive this deep into a campaign, given how much of Da Biggest WAGH spawns close or very close to their position--figured the affected factions would sprint towards pounding on and confederating them
Yeah I mean, it's a end game stack of chaos dwarves compromised entirely of their strongest units. Ofc it's going to be OP, this guy had a doomstack, he just didn't know how to use it
Hello Legend, Just emailed you with a crazy battle that I could not win .... empire 2 stacks vs vampires 4 stacks. 5 attempts with all sorts of techniques failed miserably. It would be amazing to see you work your magic!
Its turn 141, by that point you should have had complete control of tower of hashut for at least 50-60 turns and so many different magic items it takes you 30 mins every 5 turns to sort them all. I have 5-7 by turn 91, eventually RNG starts working properly.
Also don't send your light / medium cavalry to take on savage orc arrer boyz they will absolutely wreck it i learned that the hard way , savage orcs are built different and with Wurrzag leading them they are even more dangerous
do you still recommend warhammer 2? i still play medieval 2 and have 170 hrs and i just couldnt get behind how "video gamey" it was. no longer an immersive empire building simulator and things like army limits and arbrary butt ladders and no captains. im wondering if i should try again. also the dlc left a bad taste in myself with each faction needing dlc to unlock important parts of their unit tree and the wood elves dlc dlc.
Well chaos dwarves are still op bro slaven at least have terrible leadership so to balance a bit but the dwarves have no weaknesses those guns are way to good
I feel like weapons engineers should have a single point skill that reduces enemy range by 20%. That will benefit & nerf several OP factions and give much needed balance to this game
Being overwhelmed is why I would never get one of these all ranged armies. Better to have 4-6 ranged units who can all use up their ammo than having 15 who get rekt by a bazillion cavalry and monstrous units jumping on them. The AI sure is dumb, but you have to be micro god (or pause a lot) to pull off using these armies consistently. Also they suck in sieges, too. Especially the gunpowder units. I would honestly consider such an army a liability, not a doomstack. For anyone without Legend's skills, that is.
These armies are very easy to use, especially for the Chorfs. If you really wanna see this get bonkers, just move around enemies in underway stance and now they’re forced to approach your line through a long narrow tunnel.
@@atlasstoned Thats definitely an ideal situation. More feasable with Skaven than any other race. (Beastmen just dont have good archers to worth pulling this off.) In reality you'll fight sieges mostly, and field battles with random patches of wood and wierd elevations obstructing your guns. Either way, I just fundamentally disagree with not using 95% of a faction's roster for efficiency, thus I dont play on legendary at all. The only full ranged army Im willing to do is with high elves, because they have sea guards and sisters who are good in melee as well as shooting.
@@Grivehn I don't run doom stack armies pretty much ever. But the ranged-focused armies can be fun - and with chorfs you can use a large variety (including high tier infantry) since so much of their roster qualifies. But usually, I play melee-focused races anyways.
Perfectly highlights poor roster design and of course an A.I that sucks at the game. Also, once again, highlights the pay to win DLC that CA have been pumping out for a while now. Which could raise the question, should we pander to those who can't win at the game at higher difficulty levels without pay to win factions or should we ignore them and balance the game. The easy answer to that is, of course, whichever pays the most for CA. Thankfully we have the wonderful modding teams out there to restore some sembelance of balance to the game. Legend should really do a few streams with the various modded campaigns out there, quite surprised he has never done it. It would add some much needed variety to the streams.
No, I prefer historical total war. I give no a zero shit about warhammer. I enjoy Legend, but I'm ready for Warhammer to move on. You don't need to share my thoughts on the matter, but I will voice my opinion. Warhammer is super lame.
