Sparks don't fit into any box, that's what makes them great. Btw, fantastic cover version.
Always loved this song & thought it should have been a much bigger hit. That goes for most of Sparks output though, doesn't it. Then again Sparks do tend to exist in a universe of there own, periodically entering that of the general public. The fact that they are such are rare beast & relentless in their pursuit of musical excellence is what makes them so special. May you continue to do the same for a very long time to come. Wonderful work.
I was actually surprised when I checked. I thought it had been a much bigger hit in the UK - LOL. I think it's great that Sparks just 'make music' ... they never stick to any sort of format. You're never sure what to expect next!
Nice. I did a cover of Academy Award Performance a while back but lost the file, I will re-do it.
