I've NEVER once heard them sing three-part harmony when they sang live, even acapella. Kiely had that baby voice that blended better with Adrienne's baby soul voice, but Naturi definitely had the more mainstream R&B sound. I think Kiely's saving grace, for me, was that she was the best dancer in the group, but gosh, her youth and naivete here is probably the impetus for the end of the group.

Thank you! If they would have had an impartial manager that all would have turned out differently. The same goes with Destiny's Child. People don't realize that Matthew Knowles was not the original manager of Destiny's Child nor the founder. It was Andretta Tillman who died from Lupus. Originally Tamar Davis (prodigy of Prince) was the original lead of then Girls Tyme. Had Tamar and her sisters parents not decided to take them out of the group when they were first signed it could have been a whole different story. Or not, because in the end Matthew ended up taking over as manager.

The point I made which is clear is that if they really were all serious about going somewhere with the group why not put your best foot forward, get to know the girls and take it serious. Funny thing about 3LW: they were molded by other artists, image wise. Keiley was trying to be Aaliyah/Beyonce/Eve hybrid😑. Beyonce because she was the leader of the group. Eve, because she was a 'rapper.' And Aaliyah for her style. Which btw she copied her swag alot. And Its so noticeable by their old videos & performances. Adrienne was the Jlo/ Chili of the group. She was the curly hair Latina from New York, and was considered the 'sexy' member. And Naturi was 'Kelly Rowland/Mary J Bligne'. Kelly for her style, Mary for her great soulful voice.
Remember what they said about being the little D. C. sort of how Voices (and which is funny Tia and Tamara were part of that group) back in the day was like the little Envogue. The thing is that Kiely wanted to be lead, but I think Naturi and Adrienne ended up being the more popular of the group.

I know Naturi was actually making a joke about being on her own and making a lot of money 💰 if the group should break up or where she would be in a few from then, but it actually turned out to be reality. she is shining..
so they basically wrecked their own careers by forseeing in the future that they weren't gonna be together, anybody could've seen that coming. Also kiely was being beyond disrespectful and childish in this interview by even bringing up all that negativity he didn't even ask them if they got along or not it just shows that this group was started on some BS.
Well, just looking at Kiely even watching other past interviews and clips Naturi was being alienated from the group. The only reason the group stayed together (or at least Kiely and Adrienne in the end) is because Kiely's mom was the manager.

Their harmony at the beginning was candy to my earsssss. Loooove 'em all. Wish the drama wasn't there and they'd still be reigning supreme on the charts with other competitors of their time (Isyss, TLC, Destiny's Child, Lyric, etc.)
... they were too generic to last very long even if there was no drama. They were an obvious less urban rip off of TLC, with Destiny's Child vibes which is one reason why I believe that they were allowed to say that they were inspired by Destiny's Child but never mentioned TLC

You can tell Kiely is 15 here. Extremely immature and obnoxious. Its funny to get the back story because it seems like it was doomed from the start and look at that. Naturi and Adrienne are doing it BIG lol wheres Kiely??? Funny, She ended up growing on me. Ooooh Well!

Naturi was ready for the group to be over, Adrienne was already media ready, Kiely was immature and messy.
It would be different if Kiely actually matured..but she literally acts the same way to this day.
Kiely seems soooo annoying and aggravating. I love how Adrienne was always herself and Naturi is more reserved and calm. I think Kiely tried too hard.

I never heard of 3LW before The Real when Adrienne started sharing about it. I did grow up watching the Cheetah Girls movies and I always thought Kiely was the lamest character in and out of filming. Watching this today made me realize how nasty she really was. Granted, she was just a kid at 15, and very immature, but you can tell she was presumptuous and conceited and not very fun to work with, i imagine. Specially with mommy dearest being the manager... Also, I love that I got to see all her broken "promithes promithes"
