OMG We're Coming Over IS BACK! That's right, today we are kicking off our first of many new makeover episodes. We are making over this tiny, cluttered and uninspiring primary bedroom that's too small for the family, with old furniture that doesn't match their style. With a little makeover magic inspired by a bohemian and vintage eclectic design, a really easy and cool DIY caned headboard built-in project, a visit to the thrift shop and a surprise reveal, we turn this before and after tiny bedroom into a very budget friendly, big and beautiful primary bedroom boho oasis. $500 makeover! #roommakeover #diy #bedroom

The way Moon understood the client's emotions during the reveal and the way he pitched in to say "You could even put candy in there" to make the client happier shows a lot of Emotional Intelligence!
As someone who lived on O'ahu for 4 years. I'm glad you started with someone like this. A much more realistic representation of how people are living in Hawaii. Multigenerational, very small homes if they're lucky.

First, it is so charitable of you Mr Kate to both donate this makeover to this young family as well *my heart goes out to all* as donating to those in need during this difficult & tragic situation! ♥ The room looks incredible!! The wicker framed by the dark wood on the behind the bed shelves is gorgeous! What a wonderful oasis for that beautiful couple!! But the Best - I am sorry - The Best Part of my experience in watching this video was Moon's face when he tasted whatever he tasted (goat cheese?) - that got him to make that face.... that was priceless - so cool that you guys have it immortalized on video.....
I was feeling quite down recently but 20 minutes of Mr Kate just makes you forget your problems! I'm so excited OMG We're coming over is back! The room looks so goooood!!!
I love how they made the window like a piece of art and made that wall behind the bed look so good!
This was beautifully done!! I think the only small thing I would've done differently was left the mirror as a mirror. With how small the room is with as much bed is in there, leaving it a mirror would've had the illusion of it being more open and spacious. Just my little alteration I personally would've done. This was so wonderfully done!!! Loved how it all came together!!

Ohmygosh Kate and Joey - you guys never cease to amaze! This is stunning! My favorite part was just watching moon get so excited during the reveal but it was so precious that Joey had his eyes fixed on Moon during the reveal cos he knew how excited Moon was! Magical Daddy moment and so precious 🥹❤

Love this entire makeover!! The whole back wall is so beautiful. I thought she was a little crazy or wanting to try to fit the King bed in there but it was actually the perfect fit!

Could this be any better? I don't think so! I particularly love the asymmetry of the window wall behind the bed. I am a big fan of asymmetry to start with, but this is really the perfect solution for what looked to be an awkward wall. I actually like this so much better than if the window had been dead center on that wall. Every individual little piece that has been placed adds to the overall magic.

I love seeing all the wonderful changes you are making to your dream home over time but there's something really fun and satisfying about seeing a smaller scale project like the OMG WACO makeovers be planned, executed and revealed all over the course of one video. You had such a lovely balance too of bringing in new stuff as well as keeping some of the existing furniture and decoration.
