We appreciate you taking the time to listen in. - Hudba
Of all the tutorials, yours was the only one that I could understand and follow. Thanks to you I got my stuff to work. Literally days of frustration watching and reading videos till I found yours.
Great to hear!
As a primitive who spent years enjoying stomp boxes and an amp, plugging the guitar into a computer was a stressful experience for me. Thank you so much for this wonderful, clear step-by-step guide for dummies! I was about to tear my hair out until you explained the hidden mysteries of hitting the "In" button on the right side of the track. Now I can actually hear my guitar through the interface and computer. Miraculous. 😂
bro, this is AWESOME! I've searched forever trying to find someone who speaks noob for peeps like me. lol thanks!
This us the FIRST tutorial which actually explained how to record guitar in concise, easy to follow steps. Thank you! 😊🎧🎸🎶
That’s amazing to hear! So glad it helped.
Absolute life saver, thanks heaps Raquel!
Yes! This is just what I needed. I can’t wait to get started!
You have the best tutorials ever very simple and straightforward unlike the others
Aloha Raquel, great video! First one that actually explains in the most concise and simple terms. Mahalo!
I have finally found a tutorial that I can actually use to learn how to make a simple recording or a couple of instruments without all the midi stuff and the million feature of Ableton live. Thank you so much for your video!
Great tutorial for beginners. Thanks!
THANK YOU FOR BEING SIMPLE STRAIGHT TO THE POINT AND THIS IS BY FAR THE ONLY TUTORIAL HELPED ME.. ALL OTHERS WERE CONFUSING THE CRAP OUT O ME...
So glad to hear that this tutorial helped!
Beautiful and impressive, thanks for the explanation.
Thanks for the headstart tutorial, concise, well explained and demonstrated, and I am even using even the same gear (by chance) 2i2, SM57, pedal board for my electric into the interface.
This video was very helpful...THANK YOU!!!
Thank you, I've watched tutorials for HOURS. And not a single person mentioned "hey if you want to edit the guitar just DOUBLE CLICK IT."
Thank you thank you thank you!
thank you, very nice energy
Thanks for the impressive explanation.
Thanks, quick and to the point.
Glad you liked it & thanks for the feedback :)
Best video to date on recording guitar on Ableton Live (any version). Thanks!
Wow, thank you for the great compliment! Glad it was helpful.
Thank you for this tips. watching from philippines.
I lav u for how easy you made this
Thank you for taking the time to make this very helpful tutorial!
God bless you in Yeshua's name :)
very informative and easy to understand. how do i add guitar backing BT and add few effects so that i can play along and record, thanks
💖💖💖
Yes! I just downloaded the Ableton Lite 11 ... please show me how to record my amplitube 5 guitar 🎸 sound or any vst like Archetype neural dsp and sync it with a backing track. Thanks, and keep up the awesome content ✌️btw nice guitar playing (what plugin u were using sounds super clean) !?
I am used to Reaper and only just getting into Ableton. Good tutorial but can you tell me how to setup a noise gate to remove background guitar hiss?
Love the simplicity. I just tried Reaper and wasted an entire afternoon just trying to set the output.
im using rocksmith cable and I have a delay in ableton live but no delay in rocksmith or neural dsp gojira standalone , in preferences in says 278ms latency , anyway to fix this ? good video btw
How can I get my electric guitar (mic’d) to play / record in stereo ?
I noticed you’re set to “off”. Is that due to the fact you are listening on a direct output? I’ve found using anything other than off, may introduce some out of time than when you played. So I generally have all audio set to off and direct monitor with my interface. That way things seem to line up a lot better with other instruments. Otherwise I’m zooming and nudging. In Logic and others I find you can kind of forget that with the auto delay compensation…given you have a low buffer. I do use in for vst instruments though.
Just wondering what your take is on using In,Auto and Off for audio Vs what you use for day a vst synth recording midi. I always find this issue can make or break a tight sounding pro recording. When I started I didn’t pay much attention, and things never sounded tight and polished. Once I noticed especially when not playing 4/4 timings. It made a huge difference!
I'm recording my Martin D-15M with the microphone that came with the focusright 2i2 bundle. After I record a track and play back the arrangement I can barely hear it through my headphones even with the volume all the way up on the 2i2 unit. It's driving me nuts and I can't figure out why. Any ideas? Do I need a better microphone?? I've already set up my Audio Preferences to ASIO so I'm pretty sure that's not it.
I see that you aren't using any of the amp sims on Ableton to record electric guitar. It's that because you were wanting a cleaner tone? If I'm wanting to use a bit of overdrive, is it helpful to use an amp sim, or will it sound fine without? Thanks!
Even for a clean tone, always use an amp sim that typically has a good clean tone. You still want the guitar to be processed through the electronics and speaker simulation of the amp sim. Can be a Fender or even a Marshall (if the gain is dialed back). Play around with the settings to get an overdriven tone.
Plugging in directly without an amp sim will give you the pure sound of the strings. The goal is to have it sound like it’s going through an amp and speaker.
Great tutorial and I mean that sincerely however it is hard to concentrate when I can't keep my eyes off of your beauty. Thank you for explaining this straightforward.
how do you make sure your not peaking? I didn't catch that at all either time
Hey girl, I can hear my voice but nothing records when I press the "record button", what do you suggest?
I have a Gretsch electro acoustic and when I plug it into my interface and try to record nothing gets recorded. Any idea why that might be happening?
Still not getting any sound from Ableton. The monitoring option doesn't seem to work on Live Lite.
I know this is cringe to some people but its lame not to pay you a compliment you might like, but you are very pretty.
Anyways, Im going to try this later, Im upgrading to Suite soon, and planned on getting a guitar plugin, but lots of ppl are saying you can do quality guitar on Suite, do you agree?
How about you want to be recording live vocals while youre playing the guitar
If I don't use headphones, I can barely hear my recording - is that normal? I also don't have those little lines that pop up on the recording.
so im basically having the same problem right now. did you manage to figure it out?
I still don't understand how it is possible to get any sound coming from this program. I literaly have 0 output options in Ableton
omg i followed all the step and still not working send me help plsssss :
i cant even hear my guitar when i turn monitoring on
