Made this for the girlfriend and sat it next to her lunch in the fridge with a little love you note... I think she’ll like it 😉

Same. Always the area at the end that it’s difficult for my mind to do the same. But failed or not we still tried hard and did what we could. :)

This time, I've decided to make this for my brother's birthday tomorrow. Gonna put this one next to his birthday cake. My mother seemed to like the rose I made for her for Mother's day a few weeks ago so... I'll see how this one goes, thank you for the tutorials, Jo!
I know I'm very late but... Update?
I only made one of these for today (Mothers Day). I don’t have 9 cm x 9 cm paper to I had to cut some paper down to size. Well, I actually licked at the lines cause I didn’t trust myself to cut it into a straight line.
Maybe because of that, it turned out so bad 😭😭at least I think so. My mom seemed to like it tho, that’s all that matters :)

If the person you doing it is special to you, you can do it. Just have a little patience and imagine the reaction of that person when you arrive with a origami flower.

how did you do the stem? i’ve already made 3 of this one. this was wonderful and very easy to do after you figure it out . thank you!
I made the stem by cutting a green rectangle the length of an a4 and 2 inches wide. Then used a slanted toothpick at the corner of the rectangle rolling the paper into a stem. Make sure to roll tightly. Also the more slanted the toothpick the longer the stem!😊

I used to make these all the time in high school (15 years ago.) I didn't remember them being this involved, but this tutorial worked!

i recently got an origami book saying i need to make a basic flower then start on the rest, this video explained how to reverse fold which was where i was getting confused for the basic flower. thank you!

I made this flower, but here is a fun idea. Use a smaller paper, make the flower, and then stick a green colored pen in the middle. Now you got your self a flower pen.
10 years later lol i found it a good video to follow. Mine turned out pretty good as well. :)
Managed to do this with my daughter's construction paper. It was unforgiving on the folds, but managed to get it on the second attempt. Thanks a lot 🙏
To everyone saying its too fast, you can rewatch the video, and even slow it down to 0.5 speed, stop qq..
+Lordvoldegard how domyou slow it down?
+Xander nadas go to settings (gear button) then in the pop up menu click "speed" it should be set at normal. then it will slide to a menu of speeds to choose from. 0.5 is the slowest. Hope that helps :)

I think this is an easy to tutorial as far as technique. My only suggestion is using a color paper that is more contrasting with the back ground. I had to strain my eyes and go back and review sections often to see where I was supposed to be folding. Thank you for the share!!!

This video was very helpful. It's the first time I tried my hand at Origami, and I could do it. Yes, I did need to pause a few times, and replay certain parts, but it was not that bad as some people are saying. It's definitely better than trying to learn Origami from a book. Thank you. :)

May be many people are having probelem with the bird base
Jo showed a little tough method of getting the bird base but there are many more ways to get the bird base
