I'm glad to be here - I might just learn something from you. I'm pretty busy this morning, I don't have the time at the moment, but some time this weekend I'll get caught up on all your videos.
I'm not sure if I've mentioned it in any of my videos or not, I got into magic when I was about 8 years old, but when I was in my very early teenage years, I discovered that I had crippling performance anxiety. I actually gave up on it then, because I didn't see much call for a magician with stage fright.
So...from the time I was about 14 until right around this January, I hadn't really done any magic at all, outside of just the occasional fiddling around.
...I really regret the 20+ years of practice I missed out on. 🤷‍♂️

@SevenTheJester l had stage freight to. I had to work through it. I still get nervous at times, but just remember the audience does not know what your about to do, so you are always one step ahead. If you miss a move they Don't know just change up the trick a little. But the more you expose yourself to performing in front of people the more comfortable you will get. Trust me. 😊😊

Yes, sir. I realize that now, thank goodness.
I was pretty dense as a kid.
Now that I'm older, I know what my dad meant. He used to tell me "I remember when I was just like you...back when I was still young enough to know everything there was to know and a few things there weren't." 😂
I'm getting through it slowly... whenever I leave the house I'll carry something with me, and then just pull it out in some down moment, waiting in line or at the pharmacy or whatever. Someone will usually stop and have a look. My biggest show so far had a capacity crowd with standing room only - there were five whole people watching me at a Taco Bell. Three people were eating and two more were in line ahead of me. The girl behind the counter couldn't have cared less. 😂
