These videos will be a valuable #tool for drummers who want to develop their skills and familiarize themselves with different #musical #styles.
This week, we'll start working on #Blues and #Shuffle patterns. The Shuffle is the main ingredient of the Blues style and is also used in #Rock #Jazz #Country #Funk #Reggae and many other genres, with minor or dramatic details added to suit the #dynamics. Take your time when playing the Shuffle, as it can take a little more attention to play, especially in faster #rhythms. Blues is a striking style that really requires deep listening to master the subtle details that enhance the #groove.
Feel free to lead with whichever hand you're most comfortable with (so no fretting pattern is included).
🎯 Study Tips:
1️⃣ Start slowly and when you're comfortable increase the #handle.
2️⃣ It's better to be #precise than fast.
3️⃣ Use the metronome to keep in time.
